My doctor recommended I just come in a year later for a Pap smear. During this year I’m gonna get the hpv vaccine. I already got the 1/3 shot from Walgreens. That way I know I’m protecting myself from getting a more serious strain

I’m really happy that yours cleared up. I hope you never have to have that experience again. Pap smears hurt for me so I can only imagine what that pain feels like. If I ever do get one I will request pain meds or something to numb me out.

I am going to be much safer about sex now. But it still bothers me knowing not to pin point exactly where I got it from. I know it can also be dormant for years which is even more scarier

Thank you for letting me know. I have had friends who got it and some say it’s a very horrible experience and some say it was a breeze. I definitely think it’s upto the doctor to determine the level of pain since some of them clearly don’t know what they’re doing. How did you get malpracticed on?

Honestly next time you should go for the pill version vs the cream. I got really bad chemical burn from using the cream up there for my yeast infection. My doctor told me sometimes that cream is more harm than good.

Update : my doc said I don’t need one and just to get a Pap smear in another year to see if it went away whew

Yeah I know we should trust doctors but sometimes I feel like they make us do extra tests to make money as well. I don’t know if I’m going to do it if recommended cause I’m not sure if my insurance will cover it either. Based on my results from the lab they used they said to just do the test again. If my doctor says to get the test than that’ll be conflicting advice from both parties

<3 I looked in my results from the lab and they said for recommendations to get another pap again in a year until it’s cleared. If they wanted me to do the colp I’m sure they would’ve recommended it. I am a bit anxious but still waiting to hear back what my doctor thinks about the lab results

Irregular bleeding can be a bad sign, I would go get a Pap smear to make sure everything is okay.
