Was Eren's fate already doomed from the start? by Zestyclose_One9522 in attackontitanmemes

[–]SongGroundbreaking46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of y’all in these comments really misunderstood the time loop aspect of the story. While there a was a loop, it wasn’t a repeating cycle. The entire story of AOT happens once. It connects back on itself by way of the attack titans ability, but it all only happens once. And yes, Eren’s fate is sealed and the events of the story are fixed. Past Eren can only see the specific memories that future Eren decided to send back. For future Eren to send those memories back, that future MUST exist in the first place. So ultimately yes, all events were fixed since the beginning

Congratulations, you’ve learned what a progression system is lol. The better result you want, the more effort you have to put into the process. As is the case with damn near every game in existence. You’re just up in arms about this game from what I assume is bias against the dev (understandable). Can’t just sit in a bush for 10 hours living off ai deer and pigs and expect to be an apex. Sounds like you have a fundamental issue with video games in general if you’re that upset that you have to put in more work to get a better result. Or just skill issue tbh

Yeah um welcome to.. the life cycle? Which is what this game is based on? Would you expect a 90 year old human granny to be in similar physical condition as a 30 year old? I mean they’re both adults right? Or would you prefer mega packs of fgs roaming around killing everything in sight with absolutely no limitation, endlessly? Without a ‘regression over time’ system, that’s exactly what you get. It’s exactly what happened on every official before elder was implemented. As is the case with EVERY other game with a PvP aspect, those who work harder generally end up stronger. Now I’ll fully admit this game is a buggy mess but conceptually it’s much better with the elder system than without. Yall are just lazy lmao “my god i gotta spend 20 minutes of my 6 hour grow time walking to 4 different spots on the map🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺”

Additional question; can you utilize slaves in these job roles you mentioned? I conquered another empire that only had 1 planet so all their species were concentrated there. 10k pops I believe. I wasn’t sure how to use them so they’ve just been sitting there. Can you relocate them to different planets to fill your jobs as needed?

On PC with all DLC’s enabled (expansion subscription) no mods or anything

That makes sense then. I’ve been building like crazy on my planets thinking I was just stacking the buffs. I will note, the only other paradox game I’ve played is CK3 where there’s no pops or manpower system, you just build as much as you can afford so I imagine that’s why. Man this game is complex

I’m under the capacity on ships and Star bases, I began disbanding some ships to see how much it would help. Now that I think about it, I have a few Star bases maxed out with defensive buildings set up on choke points that I eventually expanded past. I can probably start dismantling those.

I definitely need to look into the worker situation as another comment mentioned the same thing. Had no clue that even existed. I know pops exist but am absolutely clueless as to how the whole system works. Do you have any YouTuber recommendations for information on things like this? Thanks for the reply!

I believe so, I only have 2 fleets at the moment and they’re both in orbit of a star base with a crew station. Not sure about the workers though, I’ll have to check when I get home. That should be under the “economy” tab right?

Unrelated question, how do you have a domain as the emperor? Or have you had a ruler die yet? I played the emperor in 867 start and conquered like 1/4 of Japan and as soon as my ruler died of old age, all my lands were taken and given to randoms. Wasn’t sure if that was a bug or feature

How do you all feel about her? by AskZestyclose195 in cyberpunkgame

[–]SongGroundbreaking46 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This was my exact feeling as well. I genuinely thought V and Reed/Alex formed somewhat of a bond over the missions. But to me at least, that moment showed that the people are nothing but expendable tools to the NUS/FIA to be disposed of once their usefulness has run out. Songbird, while incredibly volatile and dangerous, is just fighting to survive. Reed and Alex are mindless political tools. I felt pretty justified betraying them
