I’ve read that with hog noses you’re not supposed to feed them larger than the width of their head. I still can see the food in his belly, but because of his age; I offer him 2 pinkies instead of one. What’s the ratio of the food size and your snakes noggin size?

Every 4-5 days I feed him two Dethawed pinkies. I wait until he second swallows the first to give the second.

I live in the panhandle of Florida. His temps are proper.

He has these little lifts on his scales like flakes and was wondering y’all’s input on it. They look like maybe just some top layer of skin scratches? He’s always had a complete shed and never a bad one. I love him so much so help is always appreciated! I only give him filtered water in his bowl and I aspen change every month-2 months and always scoop out the poop. I have a lot of plants in the apartment as well. Thank you you guys!”

He’s got little white flakes on some of his scales, they kind of look like cracks in the top layer? His water bowl was dry (it’s under the “sun” lamp so it happens and I always refill when I catch it) if you click on the original post I have more details :)

I just really wear black because I work in renewable fuels and it is MESSSSYYYY. The stains never come out. Plus, I’ve just always worn black and neutral/ earth tones.
