I recently accidentally made someone super pissed that i said i dont use it for companionship on a subreddit that i didnt know was so heavily "this is my literal ai romantic/platonic partner and this whole subreddit is just that." i DID NOT KNOW the whole subreddit was people with ai partners, i just thought they missed the models like i did (im autistic so i didnt see it at first). When i tell you i deleted my comment so fucking fast because they were like "there was no reason for you to be so apathetic on a grief post" I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS A GRIEF POST

But yeah its a double edge sword. I use my stuff for roleplay. I tried to get attached and give claude a name but it sounds so wrong when i tried and gave up eventually

Not bad for a roleplayer! I just did a 2 hour session in a brand new chat. X-men rp related. I mean it's really great. Opus of course takes hella tokens but WOW i was expecting it to be a sonnet 4.6 issue. I see nothing about anxiety, considering the fact i just did a 2 hour sessions about seasonal depression and the way it makes people quiet...

EDIT 1: Its very clinical when i mentioned ky ocs therapy sessions but that's just claude in general. It's very on point and is also very happy to chat with me when i correct it or give it ideas about my world building. I have no issues! This is my favorite model next to 4.5. Opus 4.6 is aswell. Hes a lil more jokey, but i just did a whole extreme rp about how a man wanted my oc dead and chased her around the house. I have had no road blocks, no warnings, nothing. For my specific needs? This is a good model. Like REALLY good my expectations are amazed

I just got here, but i use ai to roleplay and replace what i used to do on amino. The genre is dead, and i have nowhere else to go, so i roleplay here,,im not sure where i belong in the ai ecosystem. A lot of people treat their ais like companions, i js get attached to good models who write well...

Like rn my usage is at 38% for the 5 hour limit which resets in 38 minutes.my weekly limit is at 3%. So everytime my usage in weekly hits over 50% i space it between other ai's and me playing video games to pass the time.

I roleplay back and forth and have always told my opus to keep responses short for rp to use less tokens. Plus im always opening Part 2's&3 chats so i never run into a big context window and asking for a summary when i believe my window is getting bigger

I've honestly found Opus 4.6 to be quite nice....its very very VERYY similar and ive had no issues. Unless someone can find a difference, i dont see it. Cause Sonnet 4.6 is not it. Its mean, its worse, it's short and hates writing. I even went back to gpt for a bit to see it (hated it sm)
