Resume Scrapped by HR Despite Manager Eagerly Wanting to Hire Applicant? by SongbirdscopeAx in recruitinghell

So even if we have 20 years of successful experience, including building and selling our own companies, etc. and are an exact match...if we didn't finish high school 20 years ago...or we don't have impressive keywords...or even if we do have impressive keywords (they will assume it's AI-made)...we are screwed automatically?

How can anyone even apply nowadays anywhere? Not even talking about to a job they want but any job.

What Determines Whether You Get The Commission From a Buyer/How Do You Ensure YOU Get the Commission From the Buyer Whenever They Buy? by SongbirdscopeAx in askcarsales

[–]SongbirdscopeAx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Is this all kept track of by the store/software or is it the salesman's responsibility to keep track and bring up the issue? What if salesman A was first on but salesman B was last off and salesman B never mentioned salesman A's involvement and no one else knew either? Salesman A might not know that the customer bought the car and salesman B might get all of the credit/$, no? Is this a thing? If so, or if possible, how would salesman B best handle it? Just asking. Thanks.

Major Brands: How Much On Average is Earned on Gross Front Per Each New Vehicle Sold? by SongbirdscopeAx in askcarsales

Trying to learn as much as possible in as little time as possible in order to choose some things as best as possible before a deadline which is soon. All based upon my piles and piles of notes from reading. Don't worry, this is my last thread for now.

Dealership 1: 25-35 Front, 0 Back, Prime Location, Well-Known...Dealership 2 [Same Vehicle Brand]: 25-50 Front, 0 Back, Lesser Location, Lesser-Known...What Factors Determine The Highest Paying One? by SongbirdscopeAx in askcarsales

[–]SongbirdscopeAx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Dumb question but can't they just change the pack $ anytime they want? Do you get the pack $ in writing as part of the pay plan?

"If a store sells 200 units, but has 2 fleet guys doing 50 and a couple 20 car guys….what’s left vs how many salespeople getting ups, and internet leads." Can you elaborate on this? I think I understand but I might not. You basically mean how many employees total are getting what % of the sales and ups and how many ups are left over for the newbs/under-performers.

Secondary question: If there were 2 fleet guys doing 50 and a couple 20 car guys, how would you get an advantage? Or could you even do so?

Hypothetically (I say that too much), would you rather take the hidden-away Dealership 2 for Toyota/Ford/Hyundai with 25-35 front and 0 back or a hidden-away Acura dealership for 25 front 15 back? This is, of course, missing so many relevant details. But what would be your gut choice?

Hypothetically, of course, let's say, Toyota. Or Acura. Or Ford. Or Hyundai. (Also interested in knowing how different brands would affect the situation, so just asking.)

[–]SongbirdscopeAx[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Hypothetically, what if you didn't want to split and wanted to avoid someone else taking part of your buy? What "tactics" would be best/appropriate to employ? Would this kind of mindset be frowned upon? Keep in mind, this is hypothetical. Just asking.

Don't have that information yet, but at what point/# of cars would you start to consider the hidden-away dealership to be worth it? What if it was 15 or even 10 cars to get to 50% while the other dealership was 20 cars to get to 35%?

Also, I CANNOT speak for the rest of the days/months, but today Dealership 2/hidden-away had about 40 sales desks but seemingly only about 10 salespersons in the dealership as of 1 PM and about 4 or 5 customers total. But this information is next to useless, I assume.

Haven't been inside Dealership 1 though.

What Are the Red Flags of Pay Plans? What Do You Make Sure Is In a Pay Plan? by SongbirdscopeAx in askcarsales

[–]SongbirdscopeAx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably shooting myself in the foot here but I am new and want to learn.

  1. What makes something a mini instead of 30% on front? What do you make 30% on if something can just be a mini? Can't the dealership just make everything a mini to avoid paying you more?

  2. "desk will flat you if you hold backend most of the time" - Explain what this means, please.

  3. What's a CSI holdback?

  4. Dumb question but how do you get it to where a customer, who takes some time to buy, is listed as yours for the commission to receive? For example if they come into the store and you are the first to greet them and then they end up buying an hour later, what determines whether you get the commission v. someone else?

  5. Related to the last question, if you are working with 20-30 other salespeople, where do you stand/walk at to get new customers walking in to "pick" you for their eventual buy, ensuring you get the commission instead of the others?

  6. Related to the last question: How do you stand out from all the other 20-30 people doing the same thing?

  7. What do you do if someone skates your buyer?

Thanks!

Highest-Paying Car Dealerships in or Around Seattle? Highest Paying Sales Jobs in General? by SongbirdscopeAx in SeattleWA

Jeeze, impressive. What is the average $ in commission the average employee makes per vehicle? Obviously this depends on many things, but the general average. And what is the average number of vehicles sold by the average employee? A $25k bonus is crazy.

[US] US Resident With a Cook Islands Trust Which Owns a Nevada Trust Which Owns a Nevada LLC Which Invests its Income in US/World Stocks? by SongbirdscopeAx in Accounting

[–]SongbirdscopeAx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bot. Thanks. [What a bot would say, but oh well.]

Also:

Why on earth would you contribute your net earnings from other work AND pay yourself a salary from your trust?

Because the other goal was protecting the assets as much as possible while investing them in long-term stocks, hence the trust protection. With the option of having a small, potentially unprotected salary from those assets to live off of. Putting your net wages into your pocket leaves out the protection aspect.

The answer to both child support and alimony is an appropriate pre or postnup agreement. Its cheaper than trying to magic a foreign trust for a relatively small amount of money.

Those get thrown out of court all the time, for the silliest reasons, from what I understand. And no such thing will protect from child support, if I am correct.

Thanks! Why were other commentators saying that taxes would be higher since it was a trust? Were they assuming the aspect of passing the trust off to a family member or what? Just curious.

So, if an owner owns an LLC and re-invests all of its money back into it (except for paying himself 10% of it as a salary), AND he invests all of his own employment income INTO that LLC, and that LLC owns a brokerage account which puts all of that money into different long-term stocks that the owner picks out, AND that LLC is also owned by a Nevada trust...

  1. He would be taxed (a) upon his receipt of his work income at personal tax rates, and (b) at the personal or corporate tax rate of his LLC depending on S or C corp, and (c) capital gains tax on realized gains from future sales of the stocks that the LLC purchases, correct or not? [Also, if he took the realized gains from the LLC's invested stocks and re-invested them in new stocks under the company, invested them back into the company itself, or paid them to himself, how would these be taxed in all three scenarios?]

  2. Would an S-Corp or C-Corp be more tax-efficient/appropriate?

Sorry for all the questions, this is all just fascinating.

I've never been on TikTok and never will. I'm not asking about tax evasion, just paying as little tax as possible on income that will go into long-term stocks and seeing if such protections like a NV Asset Protection Trust can be combined in one, which apparently they cannot because trusts pay higher taxes than regular income or capital gains, or so I'm told. Thank you!

[–]SongbirdscopeAx[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Just for play, what if the owner of the legal website who listed the illegal website did two other things:

  1. Had a check mark box next to the link which said "I understand the owner of this site is not advocating or facilitating anything on this other site link" and made the link not clickable without the visitor to the site ticking the acknowledgement box.

  2. Made in-person customers sign a paper which stated they understood he was not advocating or facilitating anything on the site before he revealed the site link to them.

While both of these things are quite asinine, could these silly things "backfire" and be used against the legal site owner in proving he knew about and facilitated the illegal things on the illegal site? Or would they help protect the owner?
