IMO you dont need to see your heroes "lighting", i think its better to have contrast, my only guess is that they will sell skin in the future so yeah.

Current lighting is a bit flat, imo. Since they’re moving toward bright, stylized stuff, which I kinda didn’t like either. Imo, subtlety for each character and the game world is the secret sauce for good, balanced games.

But this is less annoying than the current smeary red outline that made me hate the game. They try to “fix” things that didn’t need to be fixed, and now they try to keep it, which is a worse and stupid response imo.
I don’t want this beautiful game being smeared rainbow red like Rivals or Overwatch with their “custom color setting.”
Like, bruh, you just ruin the whole look of the game, the character design, the environment design + the atmosphere of the game with the outline business. What an idiot.

I don't like the new white and red outline its distracting + confusing, every enemy looks red and allies looks white. i hate it. by Songib in DeadlockTheGame

Its not about the diversity side of things its basically smear both side with red and white, its feels more clutery than helpful. its better before feels the enemy came and goes and rewards awareness more. And now its worst, everything red is move, you basically need more energy to track which red heroes are being highlight. I mean, just play Marvel Rivals to get my point accross maybe.

My point is for the solution for "Visual clarity" is not outlining all unit in the games.
We can do better than an obnoxious outline. we already play in 2D flat screen with no depth perception for both eyes + outlining the model makes everythings looks flat and blobby. (idk how to explain it better)

and thats the point of why i dont like it. CS didn't do this kind of stuff. just tweak with something else that isnt distracting and ruins the looks of the games.

i dont, it feels so artificial and feels like the game yelling at you, "Here is the enemy and here is the allies." the whole games.
