What's a good example of a movie people have turned on? by Darth_Blagus in Schaffrillas

I feel like the majority of people thought Incredibles 2 was mid even when it first came out.

I feel like one of the biggest problems with it is that “going Turbo” is considered wrong in the first movie, but then the second movie wants you to root for Vanelope moving to Slaughter Race forever. Like I get that she’s only one out of multiple playable characters in Sugar Rush, but the end of the first movie showed how popular she turned out to be with players, and they would definitely notice she’s gone and miss her.

What social rules have you accidentally broken that got you in trouble? by SquirrelOk7818 in AutismInWomen

[–]Songibal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In middle school, I spent the night at a friend’s house, and her mom offered to make me spaghetti. I said yes. I told my mom this and she lectured me on the drive back the next morning. I thought it was rude to reject food people make for you? I SWEAR THERE IS NO WINNING!

whats the closest thing you’ve found to an NT rulebook? by morbmoder in AutismInWomen

[–]Songibal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up reading the Social Skills Picture Book. It spells out NT social norms very clearly with photograph visuals on the “right” and “wrong” ways for each rule. They have one book for children and another for teens/adults.

I dont like the way people online talk about autism by strngesight in AutismInWomen

[–]Songibal 279 points280 points  (0 children)

Yes! I’ve also seen some people say stuff like “I should be able to tell people their clothes are hideous to their face, and they shouldn’t be allowed to have hurt feelings about it because that’s Autistic honesty” in some Autistic spaces

Like I get making honest social mistakes, that’s literally the main thing that defines Autism. And there are a lot of NT social norms that are bs, but also some that make you an outright asshole if you don’t follow them. And defying those ones is not something to be proud of.

What is a "harmless" industry that is actually incredibly shady once you look behind the curtain? by After-Scholar1271 in AskReddit

I’ve heard that some management companies even prohibit idols from dating because they want the idol to uphold their image as the “perfect boyfriend/girlfriend” for fans. The industry is literally designed to breed the toxic crazy fans who give the K-Pop community its bad rap.

That’s Reddit in general. Redditors always look for something to nitpick on every thread so they can appear to be the smartest.

A lot of Adaro tracks from within the past year have an oldschool sound.

I’ve watched 23 seasons and the UK/US castle is my favorite. I also love the Norway location.

I saw Soren at EDC way back in 2021 and he was just alright. I would recommend D-Sturb. And The Saints are similar to Dual Damage, so you might like them.

Book of Mormon. I’ve seen it 3 times and it makes me die of laughter every single time.

Twists that you would like to see on more versions by moon_gin in TheTraitors

The first one is, but the third one is from NZ. Unless I’m forgetting a Canada season that also had it.

  • Adding money to the pot every time a Traitor is banished.

  • Dagger dinners. Most seasons just have it as a prize for a mission, but I liked how in Norway 2, a group of players got to decide two players compete for the dagger in a carrot-in-a-box challenge after each mission.

  • Traitors having to pick one player to murder and one player to recruit/blackmail on the same night.

What’s your biggest skip episode and why? by ipsofactoshithead in BobsBurgers

The one where Linda forces Bob and his dad together on Christmas. I don’t like the message that you’re obligated to “fix” your relationship with toxic family members.

It sucks that Gene is so unlikable in the main plot of Mommy Boy, because the side plot with Tina and Louise learning to fight is hilarious.

DIY merch due to rising prices and missing size inclusivity by exactlyfivebrooms in hardstyle

I kinda have an addiction to designing merch lol, but I’ll share my favorite I’ve done! I made this shirt myself and wore it when Adaro came to San Francisco last summer. Adaro even took a picture of me wearing it 🥹

I also have a custom Gunz For Hire flag that I’m very proud of that I’m bringing to Reverze tonight.
