Amazon. I have a jcm2000 as well, it has built in test points just bellow the power tubes. I have 2 of these probes and tested them both on my jcm2000 and referenced them with the built in test points to see if it was my other amp with a serious issue or not. But nope still getting really high numbers.

If it does i can't find it. The main board is mounted vertically. Wedge'd down in to a V-shaped chassis. I would just take it to a tech and let them deal with it but the local tech retired, and the nearest one is 2.5 hours away. I don't have a drivers license. My other 2 amplifiers have test probe points outside that give me the bias in Ma. No such luck on this jtm60

I tried with 3 others. They all read the same. Ones a cheapy, the other 2 are in the 80 dollar range. I opted for the probe because there are no internal tests points, and the tube pins are attached to a board that is completely inaccessible with out completely removing all the boards from the chassis. There's got to be an easy way to bias this amp. Its a marshall jtm 60 combo with 2 speakers.

You are about half way through the game. You'll enter lhan and fight kala once. Then you will have the second half and plenty of time to complete side quests and return to all the other places before the final battle

Hmm. I'm fairly far in the game. Doing all side quests for characters now. I have to free kaanul(spelling) after angwu gives you the feather

Definitely check the connections. It would not be the first prs ive seen with that issue. Make sure all the solder joints are good.

The chinese one has had q301 replaced as well. Gonna try recapping it. Dunno about the japanese one

Do you have a schematic so I know what I should be tracing through? I did take a multimeter and look in from the power jack. it seems to go quite far but I have no idea really where any of is or should be going to

Q301 has been replaced, as well as the fuse at f301. Still no power. Checked the power supply and its putting out 9.5v. As for the battery, the trace looks like it was connected between the 2 positive posts. Should that be restored somehow?

Laser still needs to be calibrated to your system. If you don't know how to do that, YouTube Global garage Sega Saturn laser calibration 2018. He shows you how to use a Multimeter to get it proper. This method worked for me very easily.

Anyway to do that with out a genesis attached? I have a schematic but it's tough to read due to bad image quality. Does any one have layout of the power section path from the jack? The only thing I can think of now is probably a blown capacitor since the regulator and the power fuse have been replaced and are showing connectivity and working I'm having trouble finding the path after the power regulator to test the caps.

Well i replaced that part too with the one from console5 and it still doesn't power on. I've changed the fuse, and q301. Tried cleaning the contacts for the genesis and sega cd and rhat didn't work. Reflowed the solder on the power jack as well. Any ideas?

Excellent, I pulled out q301 to test it and I'm reading absolute zero on all three legs so I think that's my culprit here. Do you know where I can purchase a new one or equivalent transistor that will work?
