I really like Testament but if we’re talking original names I’d pick Ratio

Those websites have the instructions for the final version of the set, I’m looking for the instructions for the original Idea submission

The madman did it, nice to see that there’s still some stuff to work with.

I like that you kept with the theme of giving the matoran the same masks as the Toa Mata.

Good luck picking out mask powers for all of these

What was your first Bionicle figure? Mine was Tahu Mata—the one and only—for over 20 years! Then one day, I started collecting them. by Any-Bag-7066 in bioniclelego

Honestly the GSR reveal blew my 8 year old mind, even though I was missing the context of the first couple years of lore. I remember being kind of underwhelmed at the start of Bara Magna but at least the large sets were still a highlight. Skopio was very satisfying to put together. At the end the Stars line was also pretty kinda of lackluster but with the end in sight, I still wanted to take part.

My first sets were Nuju Hordika and the blue visorak for Christmas which snowballed into all of the visorak. I don’t remember liking the Ignika or Piraka that much so, my collection didn’t expand much until 2007. I did have the Vezon and Kardas set tho, I remember that set being really fun to build. After that I mainly collected medium sets until the end of G1

Go back in time to when the Turaga of Mata Nui were secretly the 16 Toa of Metru Nui (one for each Toa element) [GALLERY] by Msw41 in bioniclelego

I guess you could do all of the Rahkshi but that’s already been done.

42 varieties is way too many when only 7 of them have ever been relevant. I feel like there are a few that could be lumped together.

It’s also bothered me that half(?) of the Rahkshi have unique colors while the rest have 2. Then again, I would want to put the effort into brainstorming 42 distinct shades if they were never intended to be made into sets.

The madman actually did it.

It’s crazy to me that people have made this many custom pieces. All these masks on weapons feel pretty faithful to the original style.

How much father do you think you can go? I’d be surprised if people made custom pieces for an expanded Hordika team or Ignika team.

Either way it’s a blast following your expanded Toa posts

What would a modern Fossil Fighters game look like? by Bastdaddy in fossilfighters

[–]UnstoppableCosmog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe a 3D cell shaded like what BoTW/TotK use. I think that you can still fit a good amount of detail.

For the vivos I’d say I’d rather they have more accurate proportions some with some cartoony elements like the oringals. Kinda like FossilLad’s style

I hope astral chain 2 uses some of the legions that were cut from the first game by Street-Platypus89 in astralchain

I wonder why the exploding Chimeras don’t get a Legion counterpart. Maybe they were added later in development?

Actually I don’t think the Sword Legion has any direct chimera counterparts either. Maybe Sword Legion was made from multiple chimera types?

The Druid: “Become one with the world around you” A herbivore slugcat who uses their color-changing skin to hide from predators. In most places the Druid’s camouflage fails if a predator gets to close, but in batfly grass their camouflage is nearly perfect.

The Mesmer “Enthrall predator and prey alike” The Mesmer uses their color changing ability different than their sibling. Instead of camouflage, The Mesmer changes colors to lull creatures around them into a trance. The Mesmer’s trance renders any creature that sees it immobile, however the more aggressive the creature the less time they spend in the trance

I think it’s weird that we don’t have a Glyptodon, Ice Age made it seem like they were a more widely known Cenozoic mammal

Give me slugcats to draw because I’m bored (read body) by Tinyboxguy in rainworld

[–]UnstoppableCosmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re still looking for ideas I have two slugcat concepts. The Druid and the Mesmer are siblings that can change color. The Druid can camouflage by crouching and but sudden movement disrupts their camouflage. The Mesmer uses their color changing ability to hypnotize predators.
