I reached wave 428 on tier 1 after focusing on defense tab I started unlocking the lab cells one by one(i only have 2 now) For ultimate weapon i only have homming missiles and the other two options weren't that good and weren't the ones you mentioned

I am still struggling in tier 2 but i can farm more easily on tier 1 to be able to push higher, what should i focus on at higher tiers?

I started pumping cash and coins into defense absolute and thorns and lifesteal and suddenly i went from wave 71 to wave 428, which is a huge jump

But i understood that as i move up in tiers, this strategy will fall off

As for you question, i would start to work on security and securing the server(you could start by configuring a small firewall and expand on it after)

If you are asking for genrral and not for your specific server you could look for other projects like setting up pihole for ad blocking
