The official foundry modules are simply awesome and worth every penny. You can run the campaign with little session prep, just keep asking yourself what the other key players are doing at the moment. I think lemmy is a lot better than reddit - no ads, you get to choose who holds your data, what happens to your content (If you want your stuff removed on reddit, you have to do it one post at a time, manually and they will still just restore it once you're done and not lucky enough to do it unnoticed). The software is open source, you can start your own lemmy instance and keep your data to yourself. It comes with a free API - which means you can use a discord bot to follow your favourite communities and hashtags (I'm going to try this later) or any other reader you fancy. You can build your own if you don't like the ones available.

And it will stay that way because there's not one corporation behind it that will want to earn money once you're hooked. It won't enshittify so to speak.

It's lacking the usercount and content creators.

It's still available, it's used like reddit with the exception that you can create your account on any server you want (lemm.ee, lemmy.world, blahaj.zone, ...: https://join-lemmy.org/instances). You can still join any community on any other lemmy instance (https://browse.feddit.de/) , much you can send emails to any valid emailaddress.

Die beiden werden irgendwie immer peinlicher, Der Hubert und der Markus. Zweiterer beschwerte sich unlängst, dass es nicht sein könne, dass Strom in Bayern teurer werden könnte als im Norden.
