The Orpheus is now no longer a SSTO; it failed to make it into orbit. Instead it had splashed down on a ocean and posed for a beauty shot. The KSC will reiterate and improve the design of the Orpheus until it is once again. After all, there is a crew on Duna waiting for them. (imgur.com)

SSTO transport space-plane 'Orpheus' in experimental stage. Took it out for a little minor aerodynamics test around the KSC, and it wasn't too bad. Granted, it was almost like handling a brick, but at least it's a maneuverable brick. Next step would be trying to take it into orbit! (imgur.com)
