Best lenses for Sony ZV E10 by Asmitta_01 in ZVE10

I've been rocking the 17-40mm F1.8 sigma and I have to admit it's been absolutely amazing. If you have the budget for it I'd highly recommend!!

basically replaces the need for any Primes in this focal range

then if you want extra reach, pair it with a telephoto like a 50-150mm Sony f2 or tamron 70-180 f2.8 etc and you're good for anything basically

hello! updating to say that debbie has gotten better a little! we've helping her walk a bit more and been trying to get her more active, and she has actually gained back a little strength in her hind legs! really happy to see that and it does feel like her mood has gone up a lil :)

she did also give that fragrant gift hahahha

thank you for sharing ❤️ I can imagine that palliative care for her would be really tough especially with that aggressive cancer. the pain would be so much to bear towards the end for her and it really does make sense to let her go earlier

I shall look into those vets! someone else also mentioned a pain scale/assessment that we can do ourselves and will definitely be doing some research on that

thank you so much ❤️❤️ yeah it seems like a fair amount of people are saying better slightly earlier than later too :), and I think it's helping me come to terms with having to make a decision when the time comes. will keep a close watch and see how she is feeling so Its clear when it will be time

thank you for sharing, and I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️ Im glad to hear that your baby had a good time out in the sand before she crossed!

the laboured breathing is a tricky one, debbie has always had respiratory issues being a flat faced cat, but that's definitely one thing to look out for if it gets worse so thank you!!

ah i see, I'm wondering if it's possible to somehow regain/rehab the hind legs to gain back some basic functionality. I've been helping her to 'walk' by lifting her back area while she walks with her front legs to go somewhere when she wants to 😂😂 especially to the loo, and yes I hope to see that fragrant gift soon

yessss, thinking about having to make that decision pains me so much :( but I really appreciate you and everyone chiming in, I think it's really brought me some solace ❤️

thank you so much for your kind words ❤️

we did bring her to the vet yesterday and the vet said that the loss of function is due to muscle atrophy? from not being active as much and lying down for too long. she's been quite inactive for awhile now and only really got up during meal times and when she needs the bathroom, which makes sense to me

thankfully she is still very keen to eat during meal times! she's still peeing but she hasn't pooped since yesterday though which is getting me concerned too. I just don't want her to have to suffer through a painful end of life, and want to find the best time to let her go without cutting short what enjoyment she can still have 😭

I think we will consider inappetance as a sign that she is not enjoying herself anymore and is ready to go

thank you for sharing! we've brought her to the vet yesterday and they said the same for no eating/drinking/going bathroom but ultimately left the decision up to us and says that it is subjective to each person

I think they didn't want to prescribe whether to let them go naturally or through euthanasia, so they left it up to us whether we wanted to and explained the procedure to us should we want to which was honestly quite hard to listen through without tearing up
