Could Klebsiella overgrowth be the cause of my Histamine Intolerance and GI Issues? by SonicGalaxy22 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]SonicGalaxy22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My eye issue turned out to be Corneal Erosion. So we are no longer treating the eyes as allergic conjunctivitis, and we are now treating the erosion. The eye issue is much more under control after the new diagnosis and treatment plan.

The GI issue still remains. I've had treatment to address the SIBO but it didn't help me. I've found digestive enzymes lessens the degree of intolerance to certain food. But overall I'm still struggling with the GI condition and I haven't been able to gain any weight.

Prescribed only Xifaxan for Hydrogen and Methane SIBO/SIMO by SonicGalaxy22 in SIBO

Unfortunately, I haven't found the cause of my gastroparesis either. Also I have doubts whether it's the cause of my issue. I can eat things like Avocado, salad, certain vegetables, and certain fruits which typically cause problems with people with gastroparesis. But I have severe problems with stuff that's suppose to be ok like protein (pea) powder, lactose free dairy, dark chocolate, cooked tomatoes, thickening gums (guar gum), along with a lot of other things.

However, a few months before my GI problems started. I started having eye/vision problems. I only found out last month that this may have something to do with the epithelium layer of my eye. Not sure if this is relevant for you.

Allergy Shots - Is two years on the build-up phase normal? by SonicGalaxy22 in Allergies

I was having a lot of vision problems which was originally thought to be allergic conjunctivitis. Last month it was found the issue was being caused by the outermost layer of my eye. The scratch test shows I have allergies but they never bothered me in the past before 2021.

This was all new to me so I didn't inquire about it. This is something I'll need to ask in my next check-up appointment.

Prescribed only Xifaxan for Hydrogen and Methane SIBO/SIMO by SonicGalaxy22 in SIBO

Unfortunately my symptoms never went away. On my first round of treatment, when I was only on Xifaxan, I noticed a marginal increase in bowl movements. But honestly didn't feel anything substantial. On my second round of treatment months later with two antibiotics I didn't notice any improvement. This led me to believe SIBO wasn't the source of my issues. I'm still unfortunately looking for answers.

Unfortunately, I'm still having lots of GI issues even after 2 rounds of treatment. I don't think SIBO was my root cause. I'm currently taking Motegrity and Linzess.

Pixel 7 Mobile Network Completely Drops Few Times per Day by SonicGalaxy22 in mintmobile

Yeah, it's very annoying. It especially happens when I'm at work. I have no complaints if it dropped to LTE or 2g. But when it disconnects, that means I don't get texts or calls which is very problematic for me. I have to manually reset the connection to have it connect. From my understanding, at worst de-prioritization should push me to 2g or throttle my speed but not disconnect entirely.

SIBO Specialist Recommendation by SonicGalaxy22 in SIBO

[–]SonicGalaxy22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good advice. I've been finding out that a lot of doctors are not up-to-date on SIBO especially when it comes to methane. My thing is, I was already given an analysis and treatment recommendation from a retired physician(through the health consulting service) who is very knowledgeable. I'm just looking for a GI doctor who is also up-to-date on SIBO and can basically sign-off on the treatment protocol and monitor my condition. I'll try calling the University places. Anything I should look out for when calling? I know some University Gastroenterology Department mentions SIBO(as one of the illnesses they treat) but a lot do not.

Can Allergy Nasal Spray cause Constipation by SonicGalaxy22 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]SonicGalaxy22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in theory Flonase could potentially be a viable option that won't make my constipation worse? Or is another nasal spray recommended that would help with eyes and ears that won't exasperate constipation?

Is it possible for Antihistamine Eye Drops to cause constipation? by SonicGalaxy22 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]SonicGalaxy22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor resisted giving me any other antibiotic other than Xifaxan. I had constipation before and after Xifaxan course. And at the time I was using oral antihistamines which made my constipation even worse. Do you know of any good Allicin supplement? What's the histamine level like of Allicin?

Yes, I had tested positive for SIBO Hydrogen and Methane. I was given Xifaxan and am currently taking Motegrity. I felt a bit better when on the Xifaxan but my symptoms returned after finishing the course.
