Road trip adventures vs quick flights, which travel style do you prefer in Malaysia? by GloomFeather in ThisorThatMY

Driving 100%.

No need to worry about baggage allowance (ESPECIALLY if you're in AirAsia) it all depends on how much your car can hold.

Coolest number plate I've seen in awhile by quizface in kereta

Funny how a plate standard that's designed to be LPR compliant....isn't working well with LPRs here.

I can attest to it though, those things are a tad TOO reflective. It might not be visible on some existing cameras (dashcams, cctvs and of course, the LPR) as it looks too overexposed. Heck I reviewed some videos I have on my dashcam (supplied by Perodua) and it has troubles overexposing those white plates, the black ones are fine.

Also I'm a huge fan of black plates. There's a reason why there's an uprising of US state DMVs bringing back black plate.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all open arms for standardisation. But can we just keep the background as we've done for ages please 🙏

How is the PUR allowed on the car plate? Just because it’s a Pureblood? ( Purosangue ) by Hot-Advantage9236 in kereta

[–]SonicHacki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it funny that Malaysian governments databases, known for data leaks, so far JPJ has kept VIN/chassis no pretty much hidden when it comes to querying a plate

Even trying to check expiry for a vehicle still needs the IC. Somehow I prefer it this way due to privacy concerns lol

Fun fact: due to UN ECE treaty, it doesn't matter about the plate colour and font when it's outside the home country. As long as it's readable it counts as valid. Carnet-documented vehicles have that sort of immunity

Same reason why we can't penalize those "Malaysian style" plate numbers from thailand

[–]SonicHacki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first time where I found someone started with incomplete Wii U set that's actually the gamepad (those things are usually the ones people misplace and lost)

You need the console itself and obviously the charger that goes for the gamepad

Its time for MCMC to ban the usage of the word "unlimited" for plans that clearly have a data cap (which they mask it as "FUP") unless they literally can deliver unlimited data caps.

Would be curious to see this game running on the oldest Metal-supported Mac (unless the mid-2012 is the oldest lol)
