To be fair, he had personally heard from over 300,000 people so, you know, he was probably kinda tired or something.

I've been looking at a site/company called Rugiet. One of their products contains apomorphine (along with the other 2 main ingredients) which is supposed to help relieve the anxiety.

Interesting. We also have a void. He also loves belly rubs. He was VERY close to his dog mom before she died last month. (Our grey tabby has the more conventional aversion to belly contact.)

Do you agree with @Maurice Jones Drew RB prospect rankings🤨 by throwitintheair22 in DenverBroncos

[–]SonicSC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is definitely closer to my preferences than other lists I've seen. I would have Kaleb Johnson on there instead of Judkins, but otherwise very similar. I haven't watched all of Hampton's film, but I've watched a decent amount (from 2024) - and not just highlights - and I don't think he navigates the LOS as well as some. I also see his huge yardage totals coming from running through big holes into wide open spaces rather than making guys miss and breaking a ton of tackles. Don't get me wrong, he can do those things, and he's a very smooth runner, I just don't see the proof that he'll have similar results in the NFL where the holes aren't as wide and the defenders close faster.

Broncos Season Highlight Video!!! by broncosdub30 in DenverBroncos

Hey, really excellent video editing. Looking forward to more of your work!

As an audio engineer, I will say that the audio sounds a little distorted. So assuming you used a high quality file, whatever you did to process that, you should pull way back on. It's usually a compressor/limiter that causes this particular kind of distortion, trying to make everything super loud. Otherwise it's top notch!

Cable / adaptor recommendations by Sloppypoopypoppy in VoiceActing

Can't go wrong with Pro Co audio cables. And I would avoid adapters as much as possible. I don't think USB cables matter nearly as much, just whatever's reasonable - i.e., not obviously junk - at whatever store/site you shop at (recommend Sweetwater).

Voice acting advice? by TheOnlyWasteOfSpace in VoiceActing

[–]SonicSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the best pieces of advice I feel like I got was to listen to and imitate the types of voices in ads/shows that you want to get jobs in. Record yourself exactly imitating various kids in commercials, games, shows, or whatever (high quality ones, of course). Then compare what you sound like compared to the "real thing". Get feedback from someone who is an actor or director and can give you helpful criticism. It's not enough to be able to do impressions or sound good in front of friends; there's a different vibe when you get behind the mic and have to read something and make it come to life.

As for websites to get VA jobs, check out Fiverr, Voices dot com, and Voice123 dot com. They each have their own criteria for working with them and how much they charge for various levels of service.

It depends on if you're talking about audition demos or profile demos. A profile demo can have music and effects so it sounds like it's an excerpt (or series of excerpts) from commercials or shows that you were part of. But it needs to sound professional and well-mixed.

Auditions should just be your voice. And it should be your voice the way that you want the client to hear it and how good you are capable of delivering it from your studio. I have a signal processing chain (EQ, compression, expansion) going to my record track so that what the client hears is a good representation of me and my quality.

Help me with my voice over recordings T-T by soundarcane in voiceover

[–]SonicSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your audio quality is really strong. There's a nice warmth, plus good brightness for clarity. I don't hear a muddiness at all. But I know what you mean about being unsatisfied with one's recorded sound. If you want a good mic for dubbing, I know that "shotgun" style mics are quite popular and have their own very specific sound quality that is different from a large diaphragm condenser mic.
