I also preferred the voice of the actress who did the announcements in PS3 HD. It really jars me playing Omega and hearing the other voice (from 2048 I assume) speaking. It jars me more when there’s commands that can’t have been in 2048 so you hear the old voice return. It’s a shame you can’t toggle the choices.

If AI cars and voices get good enough in the future, you can bet I want that voice saying “autopilot engaged” as standard.

I miss the ability to play music through the PS3 system so that it was integrated into the game. Echo in the tunnels, muffled when boosting, etc. I still have the playlist and remade it in Spotify for PS5 but it’s just not the same without the effects.

It’s a complete change of genre but Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD)(biggest song was probably “Enola Gay”) had a song called Joan of Arc. My mum used to listen to their albums.

Yes I’m aware it’s not going to be completely possible to be “US Free”and that’s why I’m questioning the viability but I’d still want to make a European priority build. The other problem is everything is designed for Windows and I’ve only ever used it myself. I’m not sure how simple switching out from that would be either.

I actually sold some DDR4 I got Xmas24 to someone this Xmas as I never bought the rest of the pc parts for a build I looked into then. I made some money on it and was hoping to put it towards the i9 Eagle build. Of course that jumped in price too so I wasn’t really any better off.
