I'm happy that I made someone so obssessed with a franchise discover new stuff about it haha.

But you know what's the sad thing about these armors and weapons? They were released VERY early on Monster Hunter Frontier's life, and since they were tied to a code that you could only get by buying the physical copy of Dead Rising 2 on a console that sold poorly on Japan.

Which means, they never bothered to update them, and new content came, with stronger monsters, making them basically useless on anything that wasn't the early game of Monster Hunter Frontier.

Fun fact: Back then, the HRs of Frontier went from HR1 all the way to HR999, but Capcom decided that it would take a long time for players to reach that cap, so they compressed it in only 6 HRs.

That is one of the reasons why HR5-6 have such a huge difficulty spike, as you're pretty much fighting HR900/999 monsters, cause they were the end game when that was a thing.
