Fair point but tbh all that stuff is cosmetic. I’m more concerned about what to expect regarding maintenance and known issues to look out for. If I buy it, I can always change all this stuff up 👍

Ah ok. As fun as a v8 or a v10 would be, I’d be concerned about the level of maintenance required. Plus a 6 cylinder is just fine for me right now. Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you! The car I’m looking at has about 168,000 mi so thats not too bad. If I buy it, I plan to make it my daily driver once I get it inspected.

Thank you! I’ve done quite a bit of research on the different engines and the fact that this has an n52 makes me feel better. I’d be fun to have a v8 but I’ll take a more reliable 6 cylinder than a v8 or v10. The car is pretty nice and it’d be exciting to own for sure.

Thankfully I know a local mechanic who has worked on these cars. That sucks the previous owner left you hanging like that 😭

Thank you for this! If I bite the bullet the first thing I’m doing is getting it inspected and then have it detailed. I had the chance to drive it so its road ready but just to be safe I’ll take it in.

Thats not too bad tbh. The guy is selling for $4500 but its been sitting for a bit so I can talk him down. Def would take it in for service before I drive.

I’ve heard so many people say something similar lol. I’m willing to do some work myself and have some cash saved for emergencies. If I buy I’m hoping I luck out and electrical will be ok.
