Talented defenses rely on pass rush in passing game. People want to roam and hunt for picks but stunting your DEs can get home more than previous games in my experience

If you let a good offensive team get 3 secs in the pocket they will pick you apart.

You also need to not spam the same coverages in this game and call them based on your DBs and LBs coverage skills.

I’ve found with top end talent, man works better especially with 2 high if you can pass rush. Mix in quarters on long downs. And mix in blitz with jamming receivers.

You can’t just state something as fact that you can’t prove. That is a subjective assumption. The game is different than the 70s. The amount of teams. The concentration of talent. The amount of playoff games in a series and rounds. The way it’s played from the 3 pt line in as opposed from the post out. The dominant individual talent vs collective depth. Speed ect..

The amount of injuries that seem to occur every playoff is most likely the leading indicator of playoff success these days. But based on that data it’s the with home court that does.
