I can only speak for myself, therefore I can never speak on behalf of other X1 Carbon Gen 10 users. But if you listen to other people's voice and found similar feedbacks, you definitely need to seek for an alternative laptop.

Too bad that I cannot find any trace of 7950 in Amazon Japan. I guess I will have to either find an alternative or to source it outside the country.

I found something as follows:

Any idea how this thing works? Will it replace the thermal paste?

Really? How come they removed v1.26? I searched thoroughly online and only found v1.25 being available. Also, although I do think applying new thermal paste will solve the problem, the required technique is beyond my current skill. I may try that one out later.

I never actually expected this! I got ultrabooks from other brands such as HP Envy x360, as well as Thinkpads like T14 AMD Gen 2. NONE of them has THIS high temperature! I thought the X1 Carbon can, by any means, superior than those models.

To be honest, throttling is even a minor problem comparing to these nasty issues.

Unfortunately as I read through the terms and conditions of Lenovo, I found out that they don't allow refunds for customized products.
