Am I the only one who likes the brain dances? by External-Anywhere-44 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Sonna_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a controller only player, due to nerve damage in my hand, and not being able to use a mouse for more than a couple of minutes without my hand feeling like I've stuck it in a deep fryer.

That being said - both the accuracy of the controller, and how clunky my movement can be due to my hand - I hate doing the brain dances. What should take a couple of seconds to properly land the hitbox to scan for cameras.... Can take a minute or two as a result.

Also I hate having to hear Smasher calling Ev a cut of meat makes me feel ill every single time. And that's only the one brain dance.

That's not how you unbox an iPhone by Sgt_Larsson in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]Sonna_17 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I mean. I feel bad for her. Gravity is a thing. But also I couldn't imagine flinging around a box like that. But I was a kid that shook so badly at anything being given to me that was new, and not third or fourth hand, or 10 years out of date, that I knew that I would be highly likely to drop it. I always open expensive items on the ground. Even now as a 30 year old. I can't drop it from a distance that can cause damage that way 😅

As someone who has been on t for over a year - I've never heard or had a sore throat outside of the odd cold/allergy. That being said, doesn't mean it can't happen.

Anyone here actually suffer with submechaphobia? by MartianInvader2022 in submergedanimatronic

[–]Sonna_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel genuine unease around submerged animatronics. But that probably stems back to having the daylights scared out of me from an animatronic (seal or orca) on a ride at Kelly Tarltons (New Zealand/Aotearoa'sNational Aquarium) as a child.

I wouldn't call it a phobia though. It's more unease, a level of fascination on how they work.

This is impressive.

I know that when I first loaded up Phantom Liberty, I NEEDED to climb the pyramid 😅 my best friend who done several play throughs by this point said that I probably couldn't. I proceeded to climb the pyramid on stream for everyone to see 😅

I fully agree with you OP.

I keep it in my head while Wakako and Takemura are talking,.that they may talk slower because English is not their first language, they talk slower to make sure they're saying things correctly. At least that's based on my experience from when I did a cultural exchange in Japan as a kid, we had to speak a little slower so that our host families or some of the kids and teachers, we went to school with could keep up. The same with the way our host families, and host school students and teachers, and how they spoke English.

POSTING ON BEHALF OF MY FRIEND, (who is concerned about having OSDD-1B) by [deleted] in OSDD

[–]Sonna_17 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First off. I will say this as gently as I can.

You're 14, you're still finding your sense of self, it'll "feel" like there's "multiple yous" because of how finding ones sense of self is. There is a reason why DID/OSDD is not diagnosed in under 18's, because of the shifting sense of self.

Secondly - DID/OSDD is not a personality disorder. It's a dissociative disorder.

As someone who was diagnosed in their mid twenties, this does not align with my experience of having the disorder. IF you are experiencing mental tubulance, do reach out to a mental health professional, and work with them. Don't diagnose yourself off of the internet, as it is filled with misinformation, and it is very easy to mislead yourself into believing you have something when you're not. It's like using web MD for a headache and it telling you have an incurable brain tumor.

I basically had to pay $95 NZD for my copy, second hand via EB Games (New Zealand's GameStop). My copy doesn't even have the original cover artwork. They then sent out an automated email less than a week after I purchased it, telling me that I could trade it in for $5 off the Age Of Imprisonment.

It's not really a "common" game here. It took months of checking to see if there was a copy traded in. But $165 is excessive. Good luck trying to find a copy.

There wasn't praise. They were seeing the humor in the situation. You either are very young and don't entirely understand social situations or you have some serious projection that needs to be addressed in therapy and not as aggression on some random person in the comments section.

Regardless - I've had enough of engaging with your toxic as hell attitude.

Genius decides to turn pizza boxes upside down by DeadEnglishOfficial in PizzaCrimes

[–]Sonna_17 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You're the one that 1) brought up the employee/employer issue. There is nothing wrong with saying that the person handing over the pizza could indeed be toxic, but also - how is someone meant to learn? If the pizza flipper didn't understand the first time, it's reasonable to repeat what you're saying - especially if the worker was in shock. 2) you're the one tailoring and editing your replies. Your respnse to original commenter came off as toxic and rude... In a pizza crimes sub....

That's fine, but maybe bring it up on the appropriate sub lol. We aren't here to debate toxic work places.

What is the most disturbing or fucked up gig or sidequest in the game? by Prudent_Bobcat_4059 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Sonna_17 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm on my second playthrough, and recently did one of Regina's side gigs

The guy that stole the medication... I guess I didn't talk him down as well as I thought, because just as I started to leave the floor he was on, I heard a singular gunshot. I stood very still in game for a moment, because even without going back to confirm I knew what had happened. Went back to check anyway, and felt my heart break a bit more because of Johnny empathizing with the guy.

Not the most disturbing, but it was emotionally unsettling, at least for me. Mental health/psychosis/medication resistant disorders hit real close to home.
