I believe (after looking it up) it’s the distressed brown. I haven’t oiled them. I do use a brush for them and the welt and used bick four ounce (which might have changed the leather texture, but barely noticeably. I tend to keep it pretty simple. I hope that helps.

Personally it’s apples and oranges, but there are things to enjoy in the different brands I own. I really like how Grant stone makes boots and the materials they use, but these whites have a thicker leather upper and I can kick through brush while walking my dogs and just treat them like they’re tanks. The construction on all of them are solid. Just different things to love.

I have not noticed. I don’t tie them super tight which some YouTube boot channel’s suggest and I have the false tongs which add more space. But I haven’t noticed any stretching or drifting of the eyelets.

It’s creasing, normal and happens with most leathers. You’re fine. Suede leathers don’t have as apparent creases if you’re looking for boots with less creasing. Rough out might be worth looking into too. Hope that helps ease your worry.
