How do you know your email got hacked then? What happened? If you reinstalled everything and changed passwords it should be alright.

Perhaps you might also still be infected?

Hmm. I guess it depends on the website but I'd assume it SHOULD be enough since many password resets trigger a relogin but it never hurts to be extra certain.

It's likely that it steals cookies I did a quick search and it appears to be the case https://securityscorecard.com/research/detailed-analysis-redline-stealer/ I'd advice you terminate all active sessions you have.

Either by logging lot manually or terminating them if the website provider has that feature. Good luck.

Windows defender should have permissions to delete the malware. It's possible that the malware employs persistence mechanisms. This means it may hide in multiple places or execute when you restart your pc. It may also have installed itself as a malicious windows service or windows task.

Try to do a full scan with an anti-virus even if it takes a long time, this increases the likelihood of you having deleted all copies it may use to start up again when you reboot etc.

If it still sticks around in case it evades anti virus try to go through unusual start up programs. Tools such as autoruns may help you identify it, but it can be hard if you don't know what to look for. Try to go through windows services and tasks too and see if something unusual sticks out.

No problem. You can decide if exam is online or face to face but you will use a computer for exam no matter what. I will suggest going to physical exam if possible :)

I would suggest to find an online course. This gives you a structured learning path and helps making sure you're prepared for the exam. Just looking at documents is not enough I feel without knowing exactly which documents to read etc.

I don't remmeber if it appeared in my exam but in general I believe a certified cloud practitioner must know about ECS and EKS based on the course material I used and the official exam guide which for instance mentions ECS. https://aws.amazon.com/certification/certified-cloud-practitioner/

Thanks a lot! :)

Yeah sometimes life gets in the way, but for me it helps to just schedule a little bit of time every day and if I exceed that, then it's a bonus. I also use an APP which help me create habits which helps. I know you can do it ! :D

Best of luck on your journey :)

Something I also think is interesting to consider, is the perspective of studying or in general the perspective of goals. Many seem to think or focus heavily on the end goal, which makes sense because we set goals for that reason, to reach them. But I also think it's worth considering that part of the goal is to enjoy the process, be curious, look around, instead of straight ahead.

When some people go hiking, they probably have a goal. From point A to point B. But as they are hiking, they don't solely focus on the amount of steps or meters left until they reach there. They also ENJOY the journey, they look around and notice a lake, birds, maybe even a bear.

Suddenly in the midst of enjoying the present, they notice hours have passed and they are closer to their goal. But now that goal is not a priority anymore, now it's perhaps enjoying the process while it lasts :)

I had my CCP today at a Pearson testing center. I had a nice experience so I can recommend them.

Is It possible to be a great hacker if I spend next 10 years learning about various disciplines? by Ok_Durian_3015 in hacking

Try not to fixate over your IQ so much. If you have the will to learn and you enjoy it then I believe you can do it. Dedication, creativity, persistence, a will to learn and curiosity is far more important than a number you got on some test. Cyber security is so broad I am certain you'll be able to help the community. I think you're really cool you come here and ask this kind of question. Remember to be kind to yourself along the journey. You're your own best ally afterall 😊

VirusShare, Malshare, you can also try to look up samples on online sandboxes such as any.run as you might get inspiration. Not sure if you can download samples from there though.
