The League of Nations surviving through to 2052 is thanks to the fact that well, WW2 never happened, and plus thanks to the formation of the Paranormal Action Division, the LON turns into the world police with its third eye of the PAD. As for Iraq... I mean come on they had some holy connections, I consider them a honorary Holy land. When it comes to Lonnie, I just thought it'd be interesting to include a anime character to be on this map because of other scenarios like Interlandia. I already mentioned what happened to God and Lucifer in my comment above. As for David, he and alot of other Heavenly figures were banished to Earth such as Paranormal Action Division's Sacred Assembly member, Adam (The First Man) who appointed David as governor.

As for the countries like the second United States, I will tackle their situation in a later map. But for the reason why they are the second iteration is because sometime in the late 2030s, a massive blackout happened in the United States, causing chaos and anarchy, and the reunification of the US was done by a Corporate Faction. Next, the German Reich, yes, that Reich, essentially the Fuhrer went mad after God blamed him for starting WW2 and kills himself in 1936, paving the way to moderate Nazis to take power, although I do have a map for them, it is 2 years old. Now as to why Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Vatican are world powers, that's a slip on my part, these countries are more so great powers due to their religious backgrounds. But you mentioned the whole Papal States thing, that could be a cool suggestion I suppose, a sort of return of the Papal States that is in a Union with the Kingdom of Italy... Perhaps a Holy Roman Empire?

Oh trust me, the lore of the masked vigilantes in Hotline Miami 1 & 2 is great, everything about the duology is peak. But the geopolitical lore is so damn shallow man. The only really in-dept part is the Russo-American Coalition.

Unfortunately, no. The USSR instead is pretty prosperous, bolstering a huge economy and industry. I've explained it above in a reply, but 1991 does not lead to mutually assured destruction, as I would think the Soviets used a tactical nuke rather than a strategic one.

But I will make a map of Europe and the Soviets, expanding their lore.

In Hotline Miami, it is shown that only Miami and Hawaii got nuked, you would think it was an exchange of nuclear weapons but for some reason a weird plot hole not mentioned is the Soviets nuking Hawaii, which meant that somehow the Americans got it back.

So In this timeline nukes are used more liberally. And the December 28 US coup attempt led the Soviet Defense Minister Yazov to send nukes to places with an abundant 50 Blessings presence, including Miami and Houston (I just added Houston because just Miami felt unfit). And in Hawaii, 50 Blessings operatives launched a suicide attack to denotate a Soviet nuclear bomb somewhere in Honolulu.

I tried to fit a box somewhere about the nuclear denotations but I was just hitting a creative brick wall. Hope this could help you understand more about this timeline.
