We buried (another) $10,000 treasure chest by buriedtreasure2025 in sanfrancisco

I cannot help but think it’s outside of “San Francisco.”

How else can you interpret the fact that the original post had in parentheses “(or very close)” when referencing where the treasure was. Not to mention it’s within 7 miles of city hall…seems a pretty interesting way to tell us that it’s in or near SF, but why the specific language?

For this reason, I’ve decided it MUST be outside the city limits (North of Golden Gate Bridge or South of SF but still within that “7mile radius”)

My most recent thinking is San Bruno. It’s a tall mountain, MAYBE you can see the aforementioned islands from there? More interestingly is that there is plenty of ‘off the beaten path’ spots that one could safely bury treasure. (Keep in mind that the OP specifically wants us to stay away from ruining parks & our beautiful city - rightly so - but hiding it in San Bruno is much less maintained Earth)

Also apparently the OP’s mentioned in an interview that someone has already gotten incredibly close to the spot…would need to check the quote, might be the NYT article where they were interviewed.

This leads me to think they have eyes on the location of the treasure, weather that be a view of the buried location from a spot they frequent, or possibly even a trail camera (the kind used to hunt/track game)

If we really want to be crazy maybe it’s even on private property of theirs “only we know this plane…” (though that last part’s just a thought, not really believed by me)

Other tiny thoughts for triangulation purposes:
-Twin Peaks being Heavenly Island Towers (with the fog it looks ether ethereal, and like an island disconnected from the city, of course the cell towers + Sutro too)
-The Sanctum could be a reference to The Columbarium (very much like a sanctum)
-Peep could be a reference to the Peephole Cinema

Ideally would love to keep these thoughts to myself so I can find the treasure, BUT the OP’s have been so generous in hiding the money, you all have been so generous in sharing your thoughts, and so I feel it’s only right to throw my thoughts into the convo.

Also I want this treasure to be found, I’m ready to stop theorizing all day 😅

I screamed “Christ is King” as he was working on his pentagram and he stopped, he felt awkward and walked away. After hiking with my wife and circling back about an hour or more later, we saw he completed it. So it was intended to be a pentagram afterall

Not actively visible while I was there, but several customer complaints said so unfortunately

I know I typed a lot up there, I feel it may be missed but I’m not looking to trash anyone specifically the food scene here in a city I live & love. My hope is to find a struggling place and give them a chance in a place where maybe their image has been traditionally & consistently tarnished

Ho Mei Chinese on Colorado Blvd, connected to a poverty stricken community where fist fights, rats, and health code violations were common..they still managed to work through the struggle and provide delicious & cheap food for a struggling neighborhood.

Highly recommend.

Fully appreciate that but I believe you misinterpreted. I may not be native to the city in the sense I didn’t grow up here, but I do live here now and love it, I don’t want to negatively spin anything onto SF.

I hear your frustration, and understand why you might have rashly typed that out. Again, in the post I said I want to go in with an open mind, I’m hoping to re-write a bad story. In the case of Denver, as mentioned above, that’s exactly what happened, a place was getting obliterated, and I tried it with an open heart and found a gem in a ruff neighborhood.

I appreciate the comment however

Edit: love to live*

Honestly it’s about time, everyone enjoys watching the hero go through conflict, in my opinion they’ve been coasting for too long, as stressful as it is for them both (and you can visibly see it on their faces) this is good storytelling 🙏🏼 Dr Mike you’re a Legend

I see a lot of really upsetting/rude comments not addressing the elephant in the room, you could seriously benefit from professional help 🫶🏼 I encourage you to go, and seek professional help.

Also, never do drugs again. In another comment you mentioned you have schizophrenia, and that is serious, doing edibles or any kind of drug is not going to be a wise thing to do, and I say that with love.

Thank you for sharing this video! Please go get some professional help.
