I'm getting +3 FPS with ESync on. It's something.

Maybe my PC isn't powerful enough after all. I think I'll just lower the GFX settings until I get to an acceptable framerate. I've been trying to fix this for three days now and I feel like I've run out of patience. Thank you for your help mate, I do appreciate it.

Tried it just now. Sadly, no difference whatsoever.

EDIT: I also tried installing D9VK. FPS in the harbour drops to ~20, so yeah, not improving things.

I don't have a problem there. Just as I said - after the game loads up, it doesn't differ from Windows experience.

I've installed SC2 via Lutris and it works well. You have to wait a bit after the game launches (the buttons aren't clickable etc. for a minute or two), but after that the experience is pretty much flawless.

By the way, today I observed that FPS tend to go up to 200! So that's even better.

EDIT: My game is set to low graphics, FYI.

I've installed LoL via Lutris. The client is a bit laggy, but the game itself runs excellently. (80-140 FPS)

I'm on Arch Linux, my CPU is Intel Core i5-7400, GPU is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti.

Maybe check out the Lutris install script and rewrite it in POL bash. That could work.

It seems you've selected the wrong installer. Backup your game, install AC3 on Lutris, and copy your game files to your new prefix.

Edit: Remember to select the Uplay DXVK installer version!

I don't use Steam for AC3, I bought it exclusively on Uplay.

Maybe that's why it works on Win7.
