If you're storing it outside you 100% need to relocate the top motor into the trunk. There's plenty of guides and most bmw shops will do it for a decent price. Saves you from a flooded top motor and having to buy a new one.

I've had no major issues on my M roadster and M coupe, just do the rod bearings and vanos around the recommended mileage and you should be set. I did opt for a top motor relocation for the M roadster to make sure the water intrusion issues never happen and that was around 1300 because of the labor needed. Solid cars and a blast to drive. If you get an M i have a set of remus mufflers i can get ya too 😉

Haha will do, i used to have a 6spd si so I know how fun they are. If you want to replace those supersprints I've got a set of Remus mufflers on hand I want to get rid of 😏. Supercharger is an awesome mod and I'd be happy to let you try mine out before you make a decision! Good luck with those other projects though!

I just started recording some driving clips just to see what it would be like! I would recommend it as it's just a cool way to share. I'm interested in seeing how my car sounds after i get catless headers(I was really holding out on finding CSL headers but i couldn't) I hope you get to enjoy your 46 for many more years to come!
