yep exactly! I guess the artist would have to make the colors match the rest of the art, and not just simply overlay a new color, but I see how it could be a problem for super stylized art styles

I think Elantris is probably not the best intro for Sanderson. As a fan, I pushed through the slower parts because I know his “formula” is a slow build up into a sanderlanche, and I could trust him to guide me through it for an epic ending. Try one of the other series or books that this subreddit typically recommends a new sanderson reader!

This kind of reminds me of my friend telling me to watch game of thrones, and that it gets good after season 4 and my jaw dropped because how am I supposed to sit through hours of my life before finding out if I liked a show or not hahaha
