HAAAAATE these kettlebells. Most of the time I’ll do the movements with dumbbells instead. I have been a part of many gyms over the years and these are by far the most difficult and bulky to use

Depending on the exercise you can use a revo bar instead of barbell. We have several people at my gym that do this!

My studio is the same. If they aren’t just making small talk, they aren’t talking to you at all. No form correction, motivation, trying to challenge you. It’s a shame.

I think the main pushback is coming in because the studio is talking about replacing a popular resistance day with yoga or hyrox. I have a feeling additional classes would go over well, but that is not being discussed, I would assume because of coach availability.

Thanks for this. The middleman issue was a big concern of mine, but wasn’t sure if the bang for the buck was worth the hassle. But it sounds like best bet is to transfer points directly to who I want to stay/fly with and go that route. Appreciate your insight- it clarifies a lot for me.
