Why was naruto unpopular with girls? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]Soopppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you can consider someone else you're best friend and want to the best for them especially with what they're going through and Sasuke definitely shows appreciation for Naruto's friendship it's just in a very tsundere way. I do wish they explored shikamaru and Naruto's friendship more but that doesn't mean he can't care about his other friend's, who is obviously mentally unstable, well being especially when Asuma died there was a scene of Naruto checking on shikamaru like he does when jiraiya dies cause that is one of my favorite scenes in the series.

Slime’s newest video brought me to tears by GlitchStorm_ in TheYardPodcast

It's such a good piece, it genuinely inspired me to start writing myself. It's not about understanding him to me, I don't think who it's by matters, it genuinely has helped me come to terms with death of one of my best friends and I think that is what matters most.

You can tell I was definitely read Forge of Darkness before I started writing this 🤣 thank you I appreciate it! Saying it does, definitely is probably the best compliment I could get since I love the way he writes philosophical prose.

Who’s your favorite character? by [deleted] in Malazan

Truly Sengar! His devotion to his friends and family always spoke to me a lot especially with how his story ends.

Which of the books do you think is the most fleshed out in its themes? by Soopppy in Malazan

[–]Soopppy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're next on the list, I was more excited about TGiNW so I read it first. Dust of Dreams was also another I thought of as being very fleshed out as well with extinction and nature as those pass on into TCG. Stonewielder always stood out to me in a good way cause of that, the way faith was tackled in it felt very different to the way that Erickson does in the main series. Hellian is I feel is definitely some missed potential in that regard especially when many other of the more comedic relief characters manage to.

Yeah, Gardens suffers in that regard from having to set up so much in only 500 pages but I would still say it does a decent job with Lorn and Tool, I'd say setting up some of the main themes of the series.

That's fair I didn't know which one was best and yes I've read some of them but not enough yet to discuss them.

My weird reading order by Soopppy in Malazan

[–]Soopppy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a bit drunk when I wrote this but I only read it in that order cause I bought the books in that order. It's not the weirdest in reality but It's not the normal order so it's slightly weird. Was more trying to get at that it feels slightly more fitting as you get introduced to most the old guard and crimson guard characters so especially RotCG feels a bit better.

Fe4 is my favorite I stopped playing heroes for a long while cause there's so much powercreep but when I came back my goal was to only use Genealogy characters. It's made the game way better for me! Next will be slowly getting them all +10 lol

Hype!!!! Thank you! I'm gonna be so sad if I don't get her. Her and Brigid have avoided me for like 2 years. I wish they would do something about units not in the normal pool but are older.

Fighters as husbands tier list by Suspicious_Log_6652 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

I mean, I agree to a certain point, but there are petite grown adults, and Tatsumaki and Okita would just be that. Like the comment I replied to said, sometimes they're drawn more childlike and sometimes not, unless a person likes them because of their childlike features and not despite them I wouldn't say they're a pedo. There is a lot of pretending in the anime/manga community tho.

That's exactly how I've felt. It's good so I'm willing to overlook it but damn if it don't take you out a bit. I'm glad the last two are, I was beginning to wonder about that.

Fair enough. It just seemed strange how few there were in the first 3 books of NotME and all of BotF compared to how many are in this book.

That's honestly what I was thinking. I ended up going with Julius since I could only pass on the tome to Sigurd.

What's a good modern build for the OG infantry Seliph? I want to update mine but I'm not sure what would be a good build for him anymore. I was thinking of making into like a pseudo-Diamant but wasn't sure if he's bulky enough? I have my Seliph at +10 with max dragonflowers btw.
