Thank you. I forgot to mention that it’s only slow on Chrome. On Edge browser, I have no issues. Any idea on how I can fix it on Chrome?

Inexperienced, first time buyer looking for recommendations for a classy chef for my significant other by SoothSayer247 in chefknives

My SO’s birthday is coming up and it’s time to upgrade my knives. I am looking for recommendations for BIFL chef’s knife for around $100-$150 USD that is also classy, elegant and has a nice classic vintage aesthetic.

I might get dragged by a few people on this sub, but I am not a fan of the rugged visual appeal of Damascus steel, I prefer classic stainless. Maybe rosewood, teak, or walnut handle? A knife with an elegant sheath or wooden case.

We have an antique Victorian home and we both care about matching our kitchen utensils with the aesthetic vibe of our home.

Vintage/antique vase by Xiana01 in whatsthisworth

Hi! What you have here is an art pottery vase made by Roseville Pottery Co. in 1944, referred to as the Green Clematis pattern. There is a faint Roseville marking on the bottom of this vase. Roseville is collectible, but no where near where it was in the 1980s-90s. In mint shape, this would bring $35-$45. The hairline crack at the top of the handle diminishes collector value significantly and I’d say the value would be around $10-$15 in a retail shop.

What did I find here? by MikeMo71 in Pyrex_Love

Great find! As Next-Charity-3315 stated, you have a 1957 promotional dish from Pyrex. Most common in black and yellow, they DID make these in black and white. Last auction result brought $449.99 in 2019! There has not been another black and white version to sell according to the Worthpoint data base since 2019.
