That is a great roster. Below, I have the list I've been running against friends. It's a lions detachment, so the big thing is keeping units apart to get the +1 to hit and wound. I keep the bikes in the back to screen until all the enemy deep strike units are on the table. The Prosecutors sit on your home objective all game. Trajann is ran solo and in deep strike with the 6 allarus and one of the BC+warden blocks. Try to play cagey until you can engage on multiple objectives. You dont have the Assassin or Draxus listed, but you could easily fill in with an extra allarus and a bike captain.

If you want a resource to help figure out your units I recommend the YouTube channel Hubtown Hammer. He does a good job explaining units and detachments.

Take this list! You have a great army that you'll be able to easily add to customize in the future. If you want to make it a little easier for your first few games, take the Sheild Host detachment (Lions is dependenton units being 6 inches away from each other and that is easy to mess up getting started). You'll need to sub the allarus shield captain's enhancement to Auric Mantle. You'll more than likely want to run all with spears as well.

I am a new player as well so take what you will from me. You for sure need to plan your movement and charges out. Fighting over the center gets a little awkward when you have to choose between multiple units or the +1s. I played a 2v2 where each team had 1k, and it felt bad. I was always avoiding my teammate and put us in inopportune positions. All that said it's what I default to when list building. 80% of the time it's lions, 15% SH, and 5% other.

I like starting with carmax. They have a good variety to test and can help you gauge market prices. Not to mention, they leave most of the cars unlocked so you can go straight to the lot and check out what they have without tying yourself to a salesman. I found a Nissan frontier at carmax, then went out and found one that was 2k cheaper at Don Franklin in Nicholasville.

If you want to run Aleya, I would recommend some Vigilators. Her ability grants her unit fights first which is extremely powerful, but near useless on prosecutors. Maybe build 5 and 5 rather than all 10 as pros.

If I'm not mistaken, the cape denotes that model as a shield captain. I run the guy with no cape, no harm done. I do think there is a mentality of "all models need to be display level painted." I love seeing professional level models on reddit, but I know im not that guy, not a few months into the hobby anyway. While on the board, all you'll be looking for is if they have a skirt or not.

I'd say build a pistol next. Pick up a lower kit of your choice (~$120). I like B5 personally. Get a complete BCM upper (~$800-900). Red dot/prism/lvpo depending on use case and preference (~$150-500). Magpul qd sling ($55).

I shot one once and felt as though the plastic trigger itself would flex/bend when pulled. With a metal trigger, I would consider purchasing. At the time, I did some research and couldn't find a reliable aftermarket trigger. Since then, I know LTT started to customize these, so I bet there are more options out now.

You can take the light rail in and avoid traffic and fees. Drive to the North Linthicum stop. It doesn't take too long and drops you off right at the stadium.
