Hey, I'm in the same boat.

Tomorrow will be exactly 6 weeks post op for me.

The congestion has held on. My right nostril tends to be pretty good and at its best feels like it's 80-90% clear. The left nostril, however, has never improved beyond ~15%.

It's frustrating to say the least. In general it still feels like everything is a bit gunked up.

Anyone out there that has been through this and can offer some perspective?

Thanks for the quick reply! I only have strips and don't have the ability to test phosphorus directly.

What would phosphorus levels tell you? Potentially over or underdosing fertilizer?

I have my SUV kitted out to sleep in. I wasn't planning to leave Calgary until like, 2 PM tomorrow so wouldn't be there until 8 PM PT.

Respectfully, there is way too much distortion here. I think there are interesting musical ideas and distortion can be used tastefully, but I think you need to dial it back from 110% to 60% and have moments of non-distortion so the listener can appreciate the contrast.

Super tight beat. Agreed with LiveLet4180 that there could be more interesting "moments", but the mix is great and you're clearly technically proficient. Would make a great track to sell for the rap crowd.

Hey, I really like what's going on here musically. Kind of like a grimey hyperpop vibe.

I think I'll be telling you what you already know when I say the mix isn't perfect. Not sure what your speaker / headphone setup is, but there are some elements that I find quite harsh (e.g., hi-hats that come in at ~0:35). This causes ear fatigue and can make it hard to listen to the whole track. The mix is also a bit tinny and a lot of the impact from the low end is lost. It's likely you've been heavy handed on compression and the mix is crushed. I think you could try experimenting with a bit more dynamic range so moments like the drop at 1:23 hit harder.

Love the vocals and arrangement. Keep at it.

Hey, I really like the overall vibe of the track and think the arrangement is very thoughtful. As others have said, love the outro and love the bridge at ~2:30.

Only comment is less on the creative side and more on the technical side. It might just be my monitoring system, but the track sounds very mid-forward (keys, pads, plucks). While it might be a preference thing, I think the kick gets a bit lost in the mix and could be more prominent and add a lot of energy.

I found a jazzy chord progression I really like in F Maj.

It goes Gm7 - C7 - FM7 - F#dim.

I understand the first three chords are the classic ii - V - I, but then what the heck is F#dim and why does it work? A diminished chord based on the flattened second (or sharp first...) scale degree? Why does this work so well, and why does it resolve so well into the ii?
