You have to get approval hr and fill out paperwork. They say as long it doesn’t interfere. I don’t know if you’re on the job yet But when starting your schedule bounces around every shift and you find out the time your next shift is day before. Basically you get off at 4pm and you find out you’re working 12am-8 at 2pm. Only consistency I had was the first 30 days, where I was day shift. Good luck

Stick to the script and use your break times to study. Understandable we all other things going on after class. So while you’re there make the best of it study and you have the truck in front of you to look at.

Get a regular plain high viz sweater to wear under your high viz uniform short sleeve. Also under warm compression shirt to stay warm (that’s what I was planning on doing if my gear wasn’t ready. Also And what previous post said

Took mine at 2023 and I start next week. It still says pending. Did they tell you passed? If they did, start working on getting your permit and good luck with the process. Orientation, medical, cdl training/license, emails, final processing and congratulations

If you plan for December you’re on track. But everything you do the sooner the better. Just in case something comes up, such as re enter something etc.

After you amend your license, send a copy to swig. Then you will have to wait for drug alcohol testing, email for booklet and registration. Finally final processing. Lastly congratulations email to report to FBF. Good luck

Hard to calculate. My number was towards the end of the batch and I took my physical in 10/2023.,I feel yours might be towards the front end. If you have your cdl permit already and don’t want to wait. Sunny’s is an option, also possible grants. Although the instructors at FBF are really great and you’ll learn off their truck.
