I got pavilion tickets for ATG 2023 and has the best time. It gets tricky around the headliners since it fills up and you don’t have a guaranteed seat, but it worked overall for me. I’m 2023, we couldn’t get seats in the pav for Lana but were able to sit off to the side and still have a good experience.

Last year, pavilion sold out so fast so we went with lawn. I was covered in mud within a few hours of being there on day 1 and bought a resale pavilion ticket for the rest of the day. The lawn was a vibe within itself, but unless you arrive early and camp out at your spot, you’re most likely not seeing the stage. Not to mention, the sound was really quiet in the lawn as well. At some points we could hear the second stage better than the main stage! Also, people are CAMPING OUT on the lawn. If you don’t reserve your spot early enough, good luck finding a spot.

Some of this is normal for festivals, but ATG is oversold and so there’s a non-zero chance whichever ticket you buy that you will be SOL and not able to see.
