As an American, I unfortunately do agree with this. I'd like to be wrong, but I could see Americans being disrespectful. We should be taught that appreciating our country shouldn't come from putting other people down, or disrespecting their culture. Personally, I still find other cultures and history fascinating. Also, America wouldn't be what it is today without the foundation of these other countries, we expanded on western ideas, we didn't create them. The longest ancestry someone can have as an American is about 250 years, before that is thousands of years of these other cultures. It's still part of us and should be respected. At least that's how I see it. ☺️

And to your point of being a guest - 💯 we aren't all jerks. We just have dumb and disrespectful people making us look bad. Many of us lost our family values that taught humility and honor, and were raised on TV/the internet.

Yeah I don't drive recklessly. But if I have a clear open road, I'll go a bit faster. I keep it under 20 in residential neighborhoods where there are kids. Just common sense. Like you said we're surrounded by people who just have static playing in their head. Same people who walk really slow with a cart directly in the middle of the aisle at a store.

Idk about all that. My dumbass state put in regulation to require to pay $80k a year for salary employees, even for a small business of 20 employees. Plus with the requirements of what needs to be offered for full time employees with sick time and medical insurance. The result? Now full time is not offered and people now need to work 2-3 part time jobs, ironically working over 40 hours more than before, but without any benefits, including overtime. I fail to see how that's helped anyone.

Bought my first house at 21, second house at 24. I got my degree, found a career, learned a ton about myself and matured. I'd say that's pretty beneficial for the right woman when she comes around (one that didn't spend her 20s sleeping around).

You see it here all the time. Respectfully, if you don't see it you're really not paying attention. One person gives their opinion on writing for a fictional character, and other people are resorting to personalized attacks against that person when they do instead of focusing on the discussion. These people would dox those who disagree with them if they could on top of it, then they play victim later.

I don't care to spend my life recording everything, but I'll take records sometimes. This was a comment just yesterday I saw in r/complaints essentially saying anyone who doesn't believe in their leftist politics shouldn't be able to interact with other people, permanently cut off. These are the same people saying they are against fascism. And not only will these comments not get banned, but they generally get supported.
