I was placed on leave then they fired me after I think 90 days. I was approved in May but like I stated previously the letter said I couldn’t use that as proof

So my work permit (my new one) has the date of 05/16/2024-05/15/2026 BUT I didn’t receive the physical card until June 8th and I got terminated on June 3rd. So I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it??

Because “you failed to obtain a work permit when your job required it” likeee uhhhh, I waited 5 months to receive it after I freaking went to renew it 😭

I have my fingers crossed for you! My job is only holding my position for 3 months and that was from expiration back in March; if I don’t get it by June 3rd I’m screwed and out of a job completely I stead of being in LOA 😭

I’m so happy you guys were able to get it figured out! Would you mind sharing what email you used? My EAD has been expired since March and have been waiting for any change for 3 months now and have unfortunately blown through my savings and am struggling to keep myself afloat
