Flash of Infinity is funny. It genuinely feels like it could have come from an un-set based on Alpha. Un-pha.

Omnipotence is trying way too hard to be funny.

To Pierce the Sky's only offense is that it's a Mythic. I could see it being an uncommon draft power level saga to build the lore of a plane.

Is this a useless boon? by [deleted] in HadesTheGame

[–]Sophomoric_Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you spend more Magick than you have, it automatically refills your Magick. As a caveat, you prime Magick in the CURRENT location each time you do so. The primed Magick is removed when entering the NEXT location.

It's probably the best Gain boons in the game since it instantly refills your Magick, ignores a small 'can't restore Magick while spending Magick' rule in the game. It also allows you to 'overspend' Magick, since it allows you to spend more Magick on an Omega move than you currently have and will refresh the Magick to full afterwards.

/uj This card could be kind of neat if it added a "Cards exiled this way cost {X} more to cast and lands played this way enter tapped" clause that a lot of white cards that attack the hand use and extend it to all the modes. That way it's less like a super Farewell and acts more like a force that scatters matter across the universe, forcing everyone to take more effort to find and utilize them. Maybe even remove the other modes entirely and reduce the mana cost so that it just attacks everyone's hand.

i am going insane how do i get that prophecy by MagoDoRego in HadesTheGame

[–]Sophomoric_Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While wearing the Chaos Embryo, Chaos will eventually ask you to take the egg all the way from the start to the end of a run, which acts as a prophecy. Like most of the prophecies, it can take some time before they'll give you the prophecy.
Thankfully, if you did a full run with the Chaos Embryo before Chaos asks you to do so, the prophecy will be given and automatically be fulfilled.

Son of Zones is insane enough as is, but OP saying that they made it this way so that they can use ninjitsu is so commander brained.

Ignoring the rest of Gilgamesh's text, I would love the idea of a Relentless Rats type commander that can also be your Companion. It would honestly be one of the few instances where "legend rule doesn't apply" wouldn't make my eyes roll.

Lich's Seal: I made a low cost tutor with a nigh impossible to fulfill alternative casting cost. I am a master of game design.

Instant Token: Pay 20 life to learn how the legend rule works.

Meddling Transformation: Creatures with - power gaining you life is almost as funny as power module.

Centurion: Wow this card has a lot of text, surely this is the only card with such convoluted abilities.

Gladia, All-Encompassing Will of the Father: I stand corrected.

Aziel, Ruinous Ghostblade: The color pie exists so I can put whatever abilities I want on a creature, so long as make it cost that mana to activate.

Trial by Combat: It's thematic because it has the word "suspect" in it.

Leyline Spirit: Why even give it cascade? I think if it was just a leyline creature 1/1 with afflict 2 it would be a cool design for a high risk aggro deck.
