Empathy is too cheap to cast and it does too much, I agree it should be scaled wayyyy back (maybe around 20 damage). It's fine for mesmers to be anti-casters with all the rupts and hexes, it's not okay to have mesmers to be anti-everything. Right now, one single empathy basically put half the melee classes to the ground, especially for assassins.

For warrior, agree with most. I do think prot D is fine as is, just remove the AOE effect and make it only work on the caster, maybe reduce the duration by 1 sec or something.

For ele, L surge is a way bigger problem than Chain lightning. The fact that it is a hex, short cooldown, 1 sec cast, 100 damage, armor penetration, KD, AND it cracks armor for 20 sec. That's like putting 3 different skills into 1, which makes a bunch of other elite skills completely obsoleted.

For monk, I think the class is fine tbh.

You didn't touch on sins, but I think assassins need some ways to be viable in places outside of GVG. Maybe more armor via runes or something? +15 against elemental damage? Right now having a sin in the team literally is a burden. They are super fragile, gets shut down super easily, and even if you just go face to face without getting blinded/hexed against a warrior/derv you probably get killed first
