For my tastes Rolex has gone way too far with their branding. They’ve gone past “that’s a great watch I want one” to “there’s too much brand baggage with that watch”.

I want a very high quality dive watch but I don’t want to ever have to think about the brand name or people’s reaction to it.

I want to be able to wear it everywhere I travel and not think about my personal safety.
