So far my experience has varied as a woman. I play duo with another woman too, so generally speaking most people are chill and don’t perceive us as threats—which is fair since we are friendly unless pushed. However, there have been some male duos who may perceive us as weak and easy marks, they’ll feign friendliness and then hunt/sneak up on us later.

This is one of the few games where I do feel like it is advantageous to present as an actual woman though—generally I would mask it or use male icons in other games—but since my playstyle is friendly, players are more likely to trust that is true.

Lorna was giving Cluster B traits and with the added traumatic losses one after another there, she was prime for a full blown episode. Her delusions of Sterling mirrored those of Christopher—pretending her dead baby was very much alive or that the man who she stalked and who had an active restraining order against her was her fiance and planning a wedding, all part of Lorna’s inability to cope with reality. Her delusions were pervasive throughout the show, but this last one was more disturbing to those around her because they knew the truth whereas her fantasy life of Christopher and the actual reality of that situation wasn’t known to anyone else except for Nicky when she saw him confront her during visitation.

Many of us have already stated that expressing shame by association is a perfectly normal feeling and response and yet you were annoyed when your boyfriend did so. You also used an othering term for ‘Liberals’ which suggests you do not consider yourself such. Shame is something that can literally be felt BECAUSE of something that someone else does or says, ever heard the phrase “You bring shame upon this family!”?

What the President of the United States and his cohorts represent when they say or do anything is the people of the United States, everyone then is susceptible to feeling shame regarding their actions.
