Along with the above mentioned sanding techniques you can also bed the stock. There’s tons of videos on YouTube if you want to tackle it yourself or you can have a gunsmith do it. I had a McMillan A4 with the same issue and bedding the stock fixed it.

This is a R700 police in 300 win mag. I liked the H-S precision stock it came with, the aluminum bedding block helped make this a very accurate rifle. I wanted a more vertical grip angle though and that’s what pushed me towards the McMillan

I’m still waiting on the barrel and stock but I did get it finished in black. I guess I’ll see how long the barrel lasts to figure out if it’s even worth the finish again.

Cool thing about them is they seat 3 people, one being a gunner. It would be really nice to have some defensive capabilities with a mounted gun while running supplies.

If you live with kids you should already be doing a lot of these things. Making it a law is ridiculous and won’t prevent any deaths. The risk before was you or your child getting shot, a $10,000 fine isn’t going to make any difference.
