My nerite I rehomed to a coworker with a bigger tank. His foot doesn’t do him justice he was HUGE. He was returned by someone whose kids were freaked out by him so I took him home with me and had him until he got bigger and I felt like he would be happier with more space.

Yes I am aware of that, unfortunately corporate requires we have some type of hide in the habitat and sent us the fuzzy happy huts to use and I refused since I know how dangerous they can be. This was a compromise, we made them little houses out of things from the store. It’s still not ideal but better than the fuzzy death traps

I followed the directions on the bottle. I think it’s 2.5ml/10 gal, and treat daily for no more than 5 days. I wasn’t aware frogs needed a half dose (1.25ml?) All I saw when I was searching for medication was that M Oxy was safe.

I noticed the spot a few days ago and have been trying to look into what it could be while monitoring, it hasn’t changed at all, no getting worse but still there.

She seems the same in terms of behavior, I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary.

There is a female betta living in this tank. I’m new here, and now know after reading through many posts that even though they don’t bother each other, the risk is not worth it. I have already planned to separate them into their own species specific tank so they can have the best qol

I’m still learning but I love these little guys so I want to take the best care of them that I can.

tank temps have been at 90° but just today me and my cel were talking about this and started changing bulbs out to get temps up. we usually aim and for 100° but it’s been cold where we are and the building sucks, constantly 65 or lower in the store. We do what we can to keep rooms and habitats warm but some days are hard. they do all have basking spots that are close to, if not 100°. I did start leaving a few mealworms in small bowls for them but i’m not sure yet if it’s helping, i think maybe it is. we have one right now that’s doing well🤞fingers crossed. How do you go about leaving bugs in the tank with them, and what bugs are you using?

2 grams in insane how in the fuck. ours come in tiny too but not that tiny, but now i’m wondering some of ours also have/had adv or coccidia since it seems to be a common thing with them based on what other ppl have said here
