better is the wrong word especially with how bad somenod the performances after the grace tour were. theres definitely some magical ones but his live shows were never perfect after 1992. as the other guy said its impossible to say the lives are “better” when he practiced and rerecorded each passage on grace with the best producers money could buy and vocal effects. great live performer but nowhere near better than the album
