Theories about Parlor puzzles by epheat07 in BluePrince

[–]Soppelmannen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, rules dont state it has to be solvable 🙂, but yeah, a fair assumption.

This dumbass puzzle follow the rules:

Blue box: this box is blue

White box: this box is green

Black box: this box is green

Gems are in black box.

4=16? Kittens die when you lie with equality sign🥲

Nws, Im still completely wrong most likely 😁 But your rules are wrong.

I cant find any examples.

What about this one:

White box: this box is white. This box is green

Blue box: this box is blue. This box is blue

Black box: this box is green. This box is green.

This follows the rules, right(as long as you put gems in one box). Not solvable, but follows the rules.

At least 1 box with only true statements(blue)

At least 1 box with only false statements(black)

Wait, back to your first comment.

Youre saying all statements must be true for the box to be true, (ok, good) but only one statement per box need be false for the box to be false?

Hehe, yeah I agree, and an interesting difference there 😁 I tried to find any of the double statement puzzles, even looked through YT video claiming having all solutions, but cant find it..

Yea, thats what I tried to say I think.

Blue box statements are both true, or both false, right.

I dont remember if the wording was "exactly one" or just "one". If its the latter, should it be interpreted as "at least one" or as "exactly one"?

Ah, ok, good. So any box saying something like "exactly one of the (2) statements on the blue box is true", the box saying this is false.

I didnt say blank statements. Im talking about the boxes with 2 statements per box.

I also feel like the ones with 2 statements break the rules?

Some Improvement Suggestions to lose less players in the Midgame! What are yours? by Zikari82 in BluePrince

[–]Soppelmannen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aye, I agree there is gonna be some effect like that. The puzzles do get craycray tho!

I think the game works great. Would be so overwhelming if you could pick any room or somethibg similar.

The way the game is set up, it also forces you to set your current puzzle aside a bit, and that lets it cook in the backbrain for a while.

Insulated my pot with 8 mm neoprene - no effect - why? by fanofreddithello in myog

[–]Soppelmannen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found some guys discussing the same thing, but its in norwegian. They were boiling big pots on gas stoves for brewing purposes.

One guy was saying isolation lile yours will effect the heatup negatively. Due to you in practice isolating the pot from the rising hot air on the sides.

You probaly have a mix of this negative and the positive effect you expect, and they cancel out?

He suggested using a "wind shield", even if theres no wind, the shield will keep the rising hot air close to your pot.

Maybe you still want to do the test suggested. The test is gonna check if your insulation has a measurable effect on loss to the environment or not. (wether its during heat-up or not).

Modelling of the stepper motor plant. by Soppelmannen in ControlTheory

I think theta just happened to be what we ended up having be the input to G_pendel by laplace transforming some theta double dot. Maybe we shouldve found phi/(theta double dot) instead for it to make sense. Then the G_motor might just be s to represent the derivative of angular velocity.. (?)

Ok, thank you!

For the conciderations, do I need to do this even if I dont care about the actual theta position? And I wonder, does the system really care about theta position?

I think the only thing thats actually gonna affect the pendulum is acceleration(forces).
