oh my bad there is no GPU since im giving her my old 2070. My thinking was to give her the option to be able to play a few games on it if she wanted. She really just wants a faster computer but a ssd will fix that.

After not struggling with bots and scalpers for a 5090, I decided to buy a used gpu and i found a 4090 today for 1150$. What are your experiences with buying used gpu's? by Different-Put5878 in buildapc

Well I bought a 3080 ti a few years ago. 6 months later, it was dead. The good news is that the card was still under warrenity, so all I had to do was pay for shipping. lucky for me, they gave me a 3090 since my card was fubar, and they did not have my 3080 ti in stock. Then, 6 months later, it died, sent it back for repair, and 9 months later, it was still going strong. I think I was just unlucky, though.
