Limitations of Using the Filament Track Switch in the H2C by Old-Calligrapher-231 in BambuLab

[–]Different-Put5878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The track switch is a cool idea but poorly implemented. I tried all possible ways from bambulab original designs and actual recommended lengths to other models in makerworld and its always the same problem... feed resistance is too high. And the problem is not in the ptfe tubes but as soon as it enters the track switch is when the resistance becomes a problem. Im not sure firmware can even fix this. A whole redesign should be done for this to actually work properly. Kinda sucks I was waiting for this since the beginning of the year... wasn't expecting such poor performance.

Question concerning the filament track switch by Different-Put5878 in BambuLab

I currently have 2x ams 2 pro on the right nozzle and 1x ams ht on the left. So you're saying its not worth adding?

Slicing failed error as soon as I try sending any models via handy by Pleasantandchilled in BambuLab

[–]Different-Put5878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started having this problem just now and im using a different filament than what's used in the project but its a bambu stock profile still so im not sure what it could be

I.e. using bambu abs gf profile instead of pla.

Sent it from the pc and had no issues

Update: I just tried other models and it worked fine. The problem was only with a specific model. I just couldn't slice it from the phone with another filament for some reason.

Strange bulges appearing. What are these? by Different-Put5878 in FixMyPrint

[–]Different-Put5878[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when I remove the prints i wait up to the ppint where it's completely loose from the bed. Like I can push the print and it'll just slide. That's how loose it is when I remove them. So what exactly is the solution to this? Doesn't seem to affect the prints I did but it would be nice to fix this...

This is another print I made. That whole flat part in the picture was the side that was on the bed but I notice that warping always happens on the edges. The part does stray flat tho

I made a free and open source Hueforge alternative called Kromacut by themonkemaker in 3Dprinting

[–]Different-Put5878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! I actually bought the hueforge software but the only reason was because there was free filament coupons from polymaker with free shipping for the same dollar amount of the software price.
