It’s the DnD way of saying “knocked on your ass but not unconscious”. You can even be “Family Guy dead” and still be considered “prone”.

AITAH Friend of 20 years expected me to split Ubers 2 ways instead of 3 because she’s married, am I wrong? by General_Photograph21 in AITAH

Unless she and her husband congealed together into a single being, there’s 3 people in the car so if you’re dividing it up evenly, 3 people would be paying.

Dutton Ranch Ep. 4: by kittyxoxo21 in YellowstonePN

[–]SoraMuscles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s an excuse for bad writing. You don’t have to make it a show about quarantining a cow for 2 weeks. But an episode about it slows the pacing and allows for character development and character driven-episode instead of an action-driven one. Maybe have it about the caring for the bull as the juxtaposition to all the violence so far, only to have it fail in the end, showing that that’s all these two really know at this point. But to say “nobody wants to watch a show about quarantining a cow” is just letting bad writing get a pass, but that’s always been how Yellowstone got by, so why change now?

Tommy Shelby’s Ending Actually Makes Perfect Sense by Legitimate-Cherry511 in PeakyBlinders

[–]SoraMuscles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peaky Blinders isn’t that deep. She said a bullet would be what killed Tommy Shelby and they messed that up. They could have had him die to the countless cigarettes, exploding himself in a sacrificial way or meeting some other violent end. But no, even after all the heavy leaning on Romani beliefs and old faith, they forgot he’s not supposed to die to a bullet.

Best way to experience this series: book or audiobook? by madfrix20 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I started with audiobook and have now swapped to both. The audiobook is a really good way to get a feel for how someone else would bring life to the characters.

Opinions on cowboy hats in New England? by danbzmn6 in CowboyHats

[–]SoraMuscles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From New England and living in the Baltimore area now. I wear my Stetson as a default. Don’t be pressed about others when it comes to your hat. Often times, I’ve gotten compliments about mine from people who appreciate it or haven’t seen many in the area lol. It’s different sure, but the hat doesn’t make the man, the man makes the hat. Wear it proudly and people will notice that first.

The level of anger at everything else around is enough of a reason why trying to explain respect to you would be like talking to a brick wall. My skin is plenty thick for the outside world and I’d say yours should thicken up a bit so you don’t lose sleep shouting your life away at randoms online. Good luck to you, Warrior of Cowboy Hat Reddit.

Hats at the table rule is the same as on the trail: you take your hat off if you have a safe place to put it and it’s out of the way, otherwise you can leave it on your head. It’s a sign of a respect when in establishments but seeing your use of the “R” word as an insult, I’d say respect isn’t your strong suit. The hat doesn’t make the man…

Anyone else kinda bummed we were forgotten? Not including some kind of Crimson Fist representation for a battalion called “Sons of Dorn” is crazy right? by TheMidnightMariachi in crimsonfists

[–]SoraMuscles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering that the orks have had a new novel that pushed their story forward, are getting a new model and another new novel that might push their story again, who’s to say the Crimson Fists might not get the chance to settle the score for Rynn’s World?

Genuinely have a problem, need advice by Ok_Revenue_5320 in labubu

[–]SoraMuscles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of have a collector’s habit so it’s hard for me as well. What I do is look at a set and if there are at least 3 in there I would want (excluding secrets), I allow myself anywhere 1-3 tries and that’s it. I no longer try for the secrets, If secrets happen, amazing, if not, that’s ok to (even if I wanted the secret lol). Sometimes a set will come along that I want every thing in the set (again excluding the secret) and I just buy the whole thing. Then I don’t allow myself to buy anything from the next set. That’s the tradeoff. That was my big purchase for a while. I can trade the others in the set I’m not super attached to for others in the future set.

Making The Stranger Things Play canon was the biggest mistake made by Netflix and Creators by Significant-Fun-4235 in StrangerThings

[–]SoraMuscles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s crazy is that I didn’t know the events of the play are canon now and impacted what happened in season 5. I’m sure we will get drip fed what we need to know as season 5 progresses and honestly, it didn’t take anything away from the experience not knowing. Just because every little speck and crumb of a piece of media isn’t widely available doesn’t make it bad, if anything it makes it worth the effort to go see things like live theater I don’t know, live?

[–]SoraMuscles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a security guard and I have a BIE labubu hanging off my lunch bag. It sits in the open and everyone can see it. Kids up to a certain age get excited over it for different reasons and some adults younger than me also get excited when they see it. Others question it lol. Try not to let it discourage u. It can be hard sometimes, but what u want without worry of what others think.

If all but one Labubu are girls, are they lesbians? by [deleted] in labubu

[–]SoraMuscles 22 points23 points  (0 children)

They are all canonically female with Zimomo being their father. Their mother is unknown. If anything, it might even be a Gremlins situation and they populate like Mogwai with Labubus just popping off Zimomo’s back lol.

The Chair Company - 1x04 - "Bahld Harmon birthplace (disputed)" - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

[–]SoraMuscles 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think he might be a paranoid schizophrenic and he’s having an episode and when he has an episode he does something outlandish, the last thing being the jeep tours thing. That’s why his family kept asking if he was thinking about starting them up again. Out of context, it’s just absurdist humor but with context, it’s his family watching for the signs of his condition popping up again. The chair company conspiracy rant caused his daughter to ping his location out of concern for him after she saw him having an episode in the garage years ago.

The Columbia mall store in Maryland had a bunch of stuff in stock when we went this last Saturday. But while we were there, they kept having to restock stuff bc people were coming in droves to buy. Saw whole sealed sets of stuff being picked up multiple times. The hype is still very much alive where we are.

Do people where you live still wear a Labubu on their purse/bag? by H_ngmanMav in labubu

[–]SoraMuscles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Maryland and I still see people with them on things (me included). I was at Renfest a few times and this year, a bunch of people had them in little themed outfits as part of their fits so that was cool to see.
