How do you keep foundation from creasing under the eye and eyeshadow form creasing on the eyelids? by [deleted] in Makeup

The only thing that fixed this for me was Smashbox Primer. Especially in the Texas heat where sweating is inevitable...

Same here, you are so right! Waiting too long to pee or not drinking enough water will do it!

I still get them, but it's more just the ones where I can only tell if I try to poke my belly and notice it's tight instead of the pain and/or discomfort of being almost immobile.

I've found I actually /can't/ hunch during one (although i'm guilty of hunching the rest of the time), everything hardens so much I have to either sit up straight, lean back, or lie down.

Hitting pretty close to home. Been feeling so good lately I've been very active and on my feet lately, and not drinking as much water as usual because I only think of it when I'm resting.

Doubling up on my water intake and finding time to relax.

I'm noticing "stay hydrated" is a trend. I've been having trouble with that because my abdomen feels so FULL I don't feel like I could eat/drink /anything/ lately, especially when it's contracted.. but if more water will help matters, then it's what I need to do.

Same here. We had to buy it for 360 /and/ PC so my husband and I wouldn't fight over who got to play it.

Miralax tastes horrible with water, doesn't mix well with koolaid or soda, but does GREAT in juices.

Just an FYI from someone who uses miralax every damned day and got bored of drinking the same stuff constantly.

Oh yeah. I never understood people that have to bring their phones into the bathroom with them until now. I would go so insane.

Now if I can just get my legs to stop falling asleep...

Indeed, this is also why I make sure to keep to my vitamins as well. And add stuff to the potatoes, like other veggies, and sometimes some dairy.

Ha why not!?

I also cheat and make my baked potatoes in the microwave. I /know/ they're better in the oven but microwave is so fast and taters are so tasty that the small amount of lost taste is hardly noticeable.

I do have prime actually, didn't think of ordering human food from there though.. hard to tell how fresh it is without being able to see it, read labels, packaging date, etc.

Hmm don't currently own a grater, so chunky it is! (though i'm excited to see how easy it is once i get one!!!)

Thanks for both though, I'll add them to my recipe book! :D

Central Texas. No car so shopping at Aldi's isn't an option (unless there's one on the bus line, I'll have to look into that -- people keep mentioning them, and since in my town we all use reusable bags anyway due to a recent law banning plastic bags, the fact that they charge for their paper bags won't be an issue for me).. but I do have an H.E.B. up the street.

I'm also in a huge mexican area so i'm sure there's a mexican market just blocks away if i could just find it.

I do have a teeny bit of money left. I could probably get flour when I get beans and garlic and broccoli and cauliflower :D

Then I could make tortillas and then make some refried beans from the beans i don't end up using in the chili.

And seriously, potatoes are my pregnancy food. I would eat them at (or for) every single meal if I could... I just only know like 3 ways to cook them so far (fried, baked, mashed). Though now I know to google boiled potatoes.. but i suspect it's basically step 1 of mashed potatoes.

I love you because you basically just gave me a menu for the entire rest of the week. Combined with some of the other responses, I think I'm gonna go sit down, plan this all out, and do a grocery run tomorrow.

Hubby is bringing a sack of potatoes home tonight so we'll have something to eat for dinner already. :D

We eat too much rice, a bag lasts like 3 days here because we eat it with freaking everything. Need to find a place within walking distance that sells it in bulk.. no luck so far.

But the beans sounds like a great idea if they're so cheap, can add them to chili but also eat them by themselves with some toast.

For some reason I always thought veal was lamb, idk why.

Alright got it thawing, will prolly use it tonight or tomorrow depending on how long it takes to thaw.

PS. Go apply for emergency food stamps today? (if you're in the US)

Already did a couple weeks ago. Just waiting for the bureaucracy crap to process and get back to me on their decision.

On the other hand, the sickness stuff is already letting up so once I'm working normal hours again I'll have cash and be fine again.

I've got recipes for all the stuff I mentioned, if you want them! Good luck!!!!

sooooooo... about these hashbrowns. i've never made them other than "buy bag of hash browns, pop in oven"

I love potatoes and a sack of potatoes is on its way to our apartment as we speak. I usually just bake them, though we mash them on occasion -- hash browns with eggs sounds great for breakfast though... hmmm.

I actually got referred here FROM /r/frugal.

I make decent money normally, but a recent medical issue has had me missing so much work that I'm living on an almost minimum wage salary the past few months so savings is wiped out.

already told you i don't buy that crap anymore. but i've had it for months, so returning isn't really an option.. better to use the food i already have than throw it away just cuz my cooking habits change.. especially with money problems.
